  I was recently married at Viaggio Winery in Acampo and I was lucky enough to have Cherie and her husband Maika capture my day. When I first began looking for a photographer I was quickly becoming discouraged with pricing, peoples responsiveness, etc. When I first contacted Cherie I liked her from her very first email response.She was not pushy but instead informative and offered to meet for coffee but since I was hour away from her we instead had a FaceTime date with myself and fiancée. She was so sweet and we chatted for an hour! We decided to cut costs in other areas to make it work with our budget and that was the best decision! We had an engagement session done shortly after and felt like we were spending the day with friends. Cherie has such a calmness to her that was so nice to be around. I hadn't mentioned that my now husband does not like having his picture taken and can often be very shy especially when it comes to taking lovey kissing pictures! She was able to capture some of my favorite pictures of all time without any complaints from him! When it came to day of she was relaxed, calm and a fun addition to the day! Many of my bridesmaids even commented how they had never seen a photographer who could get so many great shots with large party ( I had a party of 19 ) She made the day that much more special. When it came to getting my photos afterwards she was so quick to send me previews and had my entire collection to be at 4 weeks! If I could recommend one vendor from my whole day I can not stress to you enough that it would be Cherie! She was amazing!

  Cherie is one of the most genuinely passionate photographers I have met which is clearly captured through her photography. My husband and I clicked with Cherie immediately and knew we wanted her to be a part of our big day. We absolutely love every photograph and are so thankful for the quick turnaround of our engagement and wedding photos. She always has such a positive attitude and makes you feel really comfortable taking pictures. Her gasps of "awe" are especially entertaining when she's got the perfect shot ;). Cherie, you already know we love you and again are so thankful for all your hard work and the time you put in to capture every sweet moment. I cannot recommend Cherie Mariko Photography enough!

  Cherie is absolutely wonderful! She took our engagement photos a few weeks ago, and my fiance and I could not be happier with our photos or the experience. Cherie's photographs are nothing short of spectacular. She was completely flexible about the location we choose for our engagement photos, and her genuine enthusiasm and excitement was infectious. We cannot wait for her to take our wedding photos next spring! Her prices are extremely competitive and she provided final product photos quickly. You will not find another photographer who so personally and professionally invests themselves in your photographs!

  Cherie is not only an amazing and talented photographer (which is obvious by her work), but truly passionate about photography, has a strong work ethic, organized, and incredibly sweet.
  
  Cherie has a true love for photography which is obvious when she speaks about cameras and photography and her eyes light up. Because she is truly passionate about her work, she has a strong work ethic as well. She went above and beyond what we asked her services to be, and she truly exceeded our expectations. She was able to deliver amazing photos for indoors, outdoors, night time, day time, American style wedding, and the Indian ceremonies.
  
  She was very organized and capable of helping to keep our crazy, chaotic wedding day on track. I never had to follow up with Cherie about anything, as she always reached out to me for logistics such as finalizing the final schedule prior to the wedding.
  
  The cherry on top is that Cherie is amazingly sweet and caring. She really treated me like a true friend throughout- from booking, to our engagement pictures, to our wedding day, and after!, with little personal touches (cards & gifts) that showed that she cared about us. She has a true attention to detail, that not many have, including noting our wedding songs and incorporating them into final wedding slideshow.
  
  My husband and I had many vendors throughout our wedding. Cherie was by far, our favorite vendor, and we hands down, 100% recommend her to everyone! (Already, one of my friends has booked with her for his own wedding.)

  Cherie was an absolute pleasure and relief to work with. She was accommodating, engaged, and professional through the entire wedding process. From the first time we met her she showed a sincere interested in our story, and made the entire experience comfortable and seamless. Next to all of that, the photography was amazing. My wife and I could not be happier with the service and product we received, and would strongly recommend Cherie Mariko Photography.

  Cherie is the most amazing photographer ever! Not only is she professional and does amazing work, she is the sweetest and friendliest person ever! Cherie was always flexible when meeting with my husband and I prior to the wedding; she was always willing to come near where we lived. Her emails were always so quick and helpful. She made our wedding planning so easy and fun! I love all her photographs and the website she made for us with our wedding picture highlights was so awesome! I still tear up every time I look at it. I'm so glad I found Cherie Mariko Photography randomly after my friend just showing me her friend's wedding decorations for ideas. If you want amazing pictures and amazing service, Cherie Mariko Photography is the way to go. Our engagement and wedding pictures are absolutely beautiful and perfect! Thanks for everything Cherie!   THERE IS NO BETTER PHOTOGRAPHER! CHERIE IS THE BEST! From her cheerful "run with it" attitude and personality to her actual photograpy technique. She is hands down the best photographer for any kind of Bride: Extreme DIY (me), Princess or Zilla, Earthy, anti Bride, low maintanence bride, modern, and traditional! She has her own ideas and the best "EYE" but she never has "ego" issues and is 100% team player in the wedding game of life! I can't stress enough: Cherie is just an all-around great person. She actually got STUNG BY A BEE, ON HER FOOT during the first 5 photos taken BEFORE my wedding started. She was taking photos hopping on ONE FOOT! She stayed the WHOLE night and never mentioned it again. She's so considerate of her brides! Preping for the wedding, during the wedding and after the wedding it felt like one of my best friends was our photographer. Since our wedding we've known 5 friends to use her as well for their wedding. I WISH she did infant or family sessions! Then she'd be our photographer FOR EVERYTHING!
  
  She took our engagement photos (twice), took photos at my Bridal shower (for an additional cost) AND the wedding. I also had a list of poses I pulled from Pinterest and she was down for it all! She even borrowed some equipment and lights so I could so a special back light shot with a huge oak tree at our venue (AT THE END OF THE NIGHT). I love Cherie. If I wasn't already married... I'd use her for my wedding! :)

  My husband and I enjoyed working with Cherie and found her through our wedding venue coordinator!!! As the bride, I was very particular on who I wanted to work with and interviewed many different photographers and instantly connected with Cherie and wanted her by my side on my wedding day to capture all the beautiful moments with my husband, family, and friends! From the moment we met Cherie, she was so easy to work with, sweet, and most of all we LOVED her work and all our photos! She took our engagement photos and wedding photos and just made the entire experience so comfortable and fun as my husband and I were worried about not looking "natural" in our photos but she directed us well and captured photos that we fell in love with. My family and friends even fell in love with our photos! We just adore Cherie and without hesitation we are always recommending her and her fabulous work.   My husband and I interviewed three potential photographers for our multi-ethnic wedding, and we knew Cherie was "The One" within the first few minutes of our meeting. Her portfolio speaks for itself, and she has a demeanor about her that makes you very comfortable as her client. Neither my husband or I are very comfortable in front of the lens, but Cherie did an exceptional job making us feel at ease and providing us direction during both our engagement and wedding shoots. She captured the most special days of our lives to perfection. She is capable of directing large numbers of people to get the best shots, has a great eye for natural lighting, and most importantly, keeps clients calm under situations that can, at times, be somewhat stressful. Our experience with her was fantastic, and I would recommend her to anyone looking for a professional and fun photographer.

She photographed the engagement session for my husband and I, and it was obvious how much she cared about capturing those precious moments and with the feel we were going for. Cherie is one of those people who goes above and beyond to make sure you are happy. She was great to work with and I gladly recommend her to any friends and family looking for a photographer.

  Cherie is AMAZING!! She is friendly, knowledgeable and professional. She really knows her stuff and was able to get some incredible shots.
  Also, she made me and my super awkward husband feel comfortable in front of the camera and was even able to get my dog to sit for some family pictures! The photos came out gorgeous!! I would absolutely recommend her to friends and family!

  Cherie is AMAZING!! She is friendly, knowledgeable and professional. She really knows her stuff and was able to get some incredible shots.

Along with the high recommendation from my friend, I was first drawn to Cherie's work because of the quality of her pictures, and I liked that "soft" "romantic" style. I also reviewed her price list, and compared to other photographers, her package that comes with an engagement book AND and wedding book was reasonably priced compared to other photographers I had looked up. When I first met up with Cherie, I immediately liked her personality, flexibility, and she was very approachable. So far we have done our engagement session (our photos came back so fast, and were beautiful!). She and her husband were so easy to work with during our shoot. I also loved the photos she does with film- not a lot of photographers use film anymore. We just received the engagement book, again, great quality. I also needed a canvas size print of our favorite picture, and Cherie sent me a big enough file for that right away. We can't wait for our wedding in June, and I have no worries about the photography because I know we are in good hands.
