My then-fiance now-wife and I fell in love with Amanda's amazing work on her website, and she did not disappoint! She turned our ideas and suggestions into a coherent vision and then executed that vision to perfection! Plus, she was delightful to work with. If you want to look like the best and coolest versions of yourselves, and have a great time in the process, hire Amanda! -

Magic maker!
I have so much to say and it still will not fully cover how AMAZING Amanda is. We met with Amanda shortly after moving to Charleston and it was an instant connection. When it came time for our engagement photos, Hurricane Dorian made us reschedule, but it was worth the wait. Our schedules weren't easy to work with, but Amanda was so understanding and quickly found a new date for us to shoot. Even though we connected initially with her, I was super nervous about how things would be once we got in front of the camera. My husband notoriously hates being photographed and I was worried that would reflect in the photos. Wasn't a problem at all. Amanda made us both feel so comfortable in front of the camera that we forgot it was even there and we were just having fun running around on the beach together. None of it was awkward posing or faked candids. 100% real. The wedding day was the same way. I am OBSESSED with every single photo she took. My sister-in-law commented that she's never seen my husband smile in so many photos. My best friend said she loves how happy and in love we look. My brother told us that people always comment on our save the date photo on their fridge and say its one of the best they've ever seen. She's made us feel like celebrities and I can't wait to hang up our photos all over our home. I also can't wait to have another reason to book with Amanda again. She is the BEST. -

I was lucky enough to find Amanda online, while planning our destination wedding in Charleston! Her self-description on her website drew me to her: the way in which she wants to capture moments, couples being themselves, not staging/forcing anything, is what really spoke to me. Then I dove into her work, and saw that she had previously shot at our venue, and I was sold! My husband and I met Amanda for a coffee and immediately hit it off: we swapped stories, talked style & what we were looking for, and not looking for, and I knew she would be the perfect person for our big day. She was able to work with our rescheduled COVID wedding date (a HUGE blessing) and it turned out to be a perfect evening. The wedding party LOVED her energy and the way she made you feel so relaxed while photographing. We've gotten ONE picture back so far that is so darn good, I'm not sure how we'll even make it looking through the entire album once it's ready!!! THANK YOU Amanda, you are an incredible talent and I'm so glad you captured our big day! -

Wow! Where to even start...
Amanda is simply amazing! I just happened to find her looking for wedding design inspiration on Instagram and the rest was history. She was literally the very first thing I booked for the wedding and I'm so happy I did. She is so warm and makes you feel like you've known her forever which is definitely a huge help if you feel a little awkward in front of the camera like me! She was so professional and just such a nice and thoughtful human! I'm in the creative field so it was important for me to find someone who not only took the basic photos but had a unique artistic style. She captured all of the moments in such a beautiful candid way and I honestly cannot thank her enough!! -

I wish I had a bigger vocabulary to fully express the level of satisfaction and gratitude we have from working with Amanda. Of all the decisions we made throughout the wedding process, choosing her was by far one of the best ones we could have made. I don't know how she does it, but she truly creates magic.
I found Amanda from one of her posts on Instagram. I randomly saw it, saved it, followed her, and moved on. I continued looking at other local photographers over the next month or so, but I kept comparing their work with Amanda's, and nothing rivaled it or even came close. I then reached out and set up a phone call with her, and we just clicked from the very beginning. From the very first conversation to the time she delivered the wedding package, it is obviously apparent that Amanda is incredibly passionate and invested in her craft, and every photo shows it. She not only took the obligatory family photos and "You may now kiss the bride" shots (which were stunning and beyond the norm), but she captured some of the sweetest moments with my new husband among the chaos of that day - the quick glances, the sparkles in the eyes, the moments when you think no one is looking. Her magazine-worthy photos are some of my most treasured possessions that I can proudly display in my home, social media, everywhere, forever.
It's easy for us to say that Amanda is our photographer for life. -

There are not enough words to describe how much we love Amanda and they way our pictures turned out! She captured all of the big moments of our wedding day but also so many little moments that may go unnoticed. Amanda made us feel so comfortable in our engagement and wedding photos! Her stunning photos speak for themselves, but I also cannot say enough good things about our experience with Amanda from the moment I reached out to her.
She was super easy to talk to and be around; she was enthusiastic about understanding our vision and helping to make it a reality, and she was full of helpful info and genuine advice about what to expect/plan for—SO appreciated by a perfectionist of a bride who didn’t want to let anything slip through the cracks and needed that help! At no point did we feel like just another one of many clients; she made us feel so comfortable and captured our engagement and wedding day photos for us in a fun and natural way. Not even sure how to write a review that does justice to the experience that we had with Amanda. We were instantly drawn to her work because she is endlessly artistic and creative. While we weren't able to meet Amanda until the day of the wedding (through fault of our own), which in and of itself can be a little nervewracking, we instantly felt like we were talking to a best friend. She was nothing but a dream for my husband and I, who are admittedly camera shy. Our wedding party LOVED her, and to this day lovingly refer to her as "Stevie Picks" because she (Amanda) is as much of a rock & roll goddess - in photographer form, of course. When we received our photos, we were brought to tears by the beauty she captured in EVERY SINGLE MOMENT of the best day of our lives. I look at these photos constantly with as much joy and awe as the first time I saw them. We felt like choosing/finding her was absolute kismet. -

Emily Sent on 02/25/2018It's hard to put into words just how amazing Amanda Seifert is. She was an absolute dream to work with on our wedding day and the days prior. We actually met for the first time over a phone call since my now husband and I were living in San Francisco at the time in the midst of planning our wedding in Charleston (where my folks live).
Honestly, it just felt like the perfect fit from the beginning. My husband and I were interested in the more candid shots as opposed to taking hours of posed photos which is what attracted us to Amanda’s style in the first place. We were all for giving Amanda free reign to do her thing and boy did she deliver. She did an exceptional job, not only did she capture stunning photos of Joel and I and our wedding party but the simply posed photos she captured of our wedding guests were such a nice surprise. I mean, just gorgeous. We had numerous friends and family come up to us afterwards to tell us how wonderful she was as well, she just has a way of making you feel incredibly comfortable in front of the camera which is a skill in itself.
Joel and I are both incredibly thankful that we were able to snag her for our big day and would highly highly recommend her to be a part of your big day as well. Our wedding was back in October (this review is long overdue) but I still get giddy every time I look through our photo album. She captured the day and so many wonderful moments perfectly and we’ll cherish these photos forever. -

Sarah Sent on 10/30/2017We had the opportunity for Amanda to take our engagement and wedding pictures-and let me tell you it was nothing short of amazing! She made us feel so comfortable in front of the camera. Not only is Amanda such a sweet and personable girl, but her talents in photography are mind blowing. She captures love so elegantly and effortlessly. When searching for our perfect photographer, many photographers just didn't have everything we were looking for: quality, style, storyline, emotion, etc. When another photographer lead us to Amanda, it was meant to be. We wanted to invest in an amazing photographer because we knew these are memories that we will never get back. She was worth every penny, every mile driven, and every memory that was had with her. She is simply amazing and the best investment that we spent for our wedding ❤️

She is so professional and made me feel at ease the entire time even though I hate taking photographs. Every single picture she took at our wedding is absolutely amazing. Friends and family can't stop telling us how amazing all of the photos turned out. I would highly highly HIGHLY recommend using Amanda as your photographer for any event. She was extremely knowledgable and so helpful during our big day she honestly helped keep my stress level down when family started to get a little rowdy... I could not have been happier with her services and would recommend her to EVERYONE.
