Hi! My name is Cana (kay-nuh) Dunlap. I am a documentary style photographer with a luxury, editorial flair. I am based in the beautiful Charleston, SC and I will never grow tired of documenting people in love in my absolute favorite city! I have over 14 years of Wedding Photography experience and I love the connections and friendships that come from working in the Wedding industry. It's SO much more than a "job" to me. It's so magical to me that I get to help people create family heirlooms that are going to be passed down for generations to come! It feels like magic that I get to capture memories that will live on forever.

Building relationships with my clients is so important to my work. These relationships help us break down walls, which makes you more comfortable in front of the camera. Which allows me to truly make authentic portraits, that tell your unique love story. I create and express artistically though photography. Every photo I take comes from a place of passion and heartfelt expression. If I could sum up my style in 3 words it would be Soulful + Heartfelt + Whimsical. My main desire is to capture your authentic love story. And I think that story lives in the unposed, fleeting, in-between, candid moments. Relationships and connections are my top priority and capturing the "in-between" and unposed moments are at the very core of who I am as a photographer.
