About this vendor
I’m Brian, the photographer behind OMA Weddings, a Charleston, South Carolina-based wedding photography studio focused on timeless, cinematic images that feel natural, emotional, and true to the people in them.
I’ve been photographing weddings for 11 years, and before making Charleston home, I built an established wedding photography business in New York’s Adirondack region. My background in film and television also shaped the way I approach a wedding day. I’m drawn to beautiful light, movement, genuine emotion, and the little moments that make a wedding feel like your own story.
My style is a blend of documentary photography and guided portraits. I’ll give you direction when you need it, help things feel natural in front of the camera, and step back when the moment is better left alone. I want you to have beautiful photographs without feeling like you spent your entire wedding day posing for them.
Based in Charleston, South Carolina, I photograph weddings throughout Charleston and the Lowcountry, including Mount Pleasant, James Island, Johns Island, Kiawah Island, Isle of Palms, Sullivan’s Island, and surrounding coastal areas. I also welcome couples planning destination weddings throughout South Carolina and beyond.
OMA is intentionally a small, relationship-driven studio. When you book with me, you work directly with me from our first conversation through your wedding day and the delivery of your photographs. My goal is not only to create photographs you love, but to be someone you genuinely enjoy having beside you on one of the biggest days of your life.
