I work as a patient care tech at a hospital outside of Chicago. I have watched nearly every friend marry, even remarry, and begin families and I truly believed I would never have my turn to be a bride. What I'd isn't know is in hanging out with Dan, someone I only saw once a year at cons and tagged in funny memes on Facebook, in December 2017 that it would lead to the road where I would find a man not only worthy of a close friendship but one that could truly accept me for who I am and as one I never had to wear a mask around. He is a priceless gift and I am truly happy to walk this path with him.

Happily married 🎉
