Shiny

Sam and I met nearly fifteen years ago. Despite the fact that we had several mutual friends, we didn't get to know each other until we reconnected online years later. We began talking a little online and our sense of humor seemed to mesh so well. I eventually decided to ask him out on a date; unfortunately he didn't realize it was a date and he brought a friend that he wanted me to meet. He was trying to set me up with one of his best friends. I had to take even more initiative and actually tell him that I wanted to date him. We have been together ever since. He is the kindest man I have ever known. He makes me laugh all the time. I am so lucky to have him in my life.
