We met at work. He gave me his number one day and mentioned getting coffee and taking the dogs for a walk. When I took him up on it, he asked all the right questions and let me do all the talking. He had Googled 'how to help a grieving friend' because he knew I was a recent widow. Many conversations and dog walks later, we found ourselves hiking, cooking and laughing together. He was patient and thoughtful. I was learning to live and love again. Two years later, we are excited to tie the knot and start a family. Life is amazing!
