Heather was wonderful, she met with us and immediately "got" us. During a small frame of time she was with us, she put together such an amazing, heartfelt and somewhat comical speech that not embodied my now husband and I, but also one our close friends enjoyed.

Our wedding was quick and simple and very lovely, just what we were hoping for. Heather Rose walked us through every step and the whole wedding was good fun with all smiles. Us both being men, that was just one more category where she deserves five stars (so hey all same sex couples, go for it!). Absolutely recommend her - that is, if you want a wedding officiant who is fun, organized, respectful, and determined to provide the wedding you desire. You know. Those things. :)

Heather, was very easy to correspond with and helpful when deciding the ceremony that we wanted. She arrived early and was very spirtually presesnt at the ceremony, she kept us all on our time frame and moved things along very intimatley. She also moved for the I do kiss so our photographer caught that intimate moment with just us there. She did great!

We were married by Heather and we could not be happier with the service she provided to us!! Everybody at our wedding commented about how amazing she was. I arrived at the venue with butterflies but seeing her smiling face and having her tell me that everything was fine put me at ease instantly and everything went so smoothly. We had an outdoor ceremony and it was wonderful how she can speak at just the right level and so clearly that everyone can hear her without the use of mics. She memorized most of our ceremony instead of reading it, and she even ad libbed some parts which made it feel so personal. The readings she chose were perfect and we made very few edits to the first draft she sent to us. She had a real understanding of our feelings for eachother and she made sure the the ceremony reflected that. It was so moving! I would recommend Heather to everybody!!!! Thank you Heather!!!

I would give six stars if I could, Heather Rose is amazing! When we got engaged, my fiance and I were not sure how to find an officiant. We come from different backgrounds and wanted a ceremony that was personal to us, with a blend of some traditional elements but nothing religious. We thought about having a friend officiate, but were worried the ceremony would end up too short or poorly organized. Luckily, my mom ran into Heather Rose at a bridal show and gave me her info. After reading her website and emailing a couple times, I felt good about her highly personal approach. My fiance and I met with her and discussed what type of ceremony we wanted, what elements were important to us, our background as a couple, etc. Then we corresponded more through email, choosing from several selections of vows, ring exchanges and the like to get the tone we wanted. Heather Rose used all this to provide a rough draft of the ceremony, and we were amazed how well she “got” us right from the start! We only made minor changes to the original program, but Heather Rose is very flexible and I know if we had wanted to start from scratch we could have. She came to our rehearsal and was invaluable in getting everyone organized, showing us all how to proceed through the parts of the ceremony, and helping customize how to make everything flow well with our venue, musician, and wedding party. On the day of, the ceremony was perfect, she even got a little choked up when we did! After being at weddings where the ceremony was too long or short, too stiff or casual, or where the officiant started talking about things the couple were not expecting, it felt great to have ceremony that was professional but still incredibly warm and personal. I would recommend Heather Rose to anyone, no matter what type of ceremony you are interested in she will help guide you and put together a ceremony you will treasure forever.

When I found Heather Rose on Wedding wire, in my heart I know I want her to be my wedding officiant. And I think it was meant to be, at my last minute wedding it was so hard to find a minister. Among all the officiant that I tried to reach, she was the only one who replied me the soonest. And when I talked to her over the phone, I really feel connected with her. I know at that time she has so many thins to do with her baby girl, but she still created my ceremony so well.

She helped me and my fiancee went trough all the ceremonial, she is very soft spoken, easy to communicate to, very accommodating, professional and smart. Everyone in my party complimented her, because she was just amazing and she can bring the vibe in the ceremony become very friendly, relax but still sacred.

I truly recommended her to be anyone's wedding officiant. She makes everything very comfortable and easy for the bride and the groom.

Heather Rose was the perfect officiant for our daughter's wedding in Sept. Despite a distracted group of participants at the rehearsal, she managed the situation with grace and ease. For the special day she came dressed in the theme of the wedding which was the golden 40's. Many of our guests commented on how well she projected herself while speaking in the large ballroom. Obviously her acting background provides many benefits in this position. But most of all, she was just a wonderful person to have preformed the ceremony. We would highly recommend her to anyone who wants a warm, confident and thoughtful officiant.

Heather Rose was a fantastic officiant! She was warm and caring, as well as professional and timely. We had several guests compliment her lovely service after the wedding and especially her enunciation and heart-felt service. Thank you, Heather Rose!

Heather was amazing. My husband and I knew as soon as we met her that she was the right person for us. We communicated over email to make sure that everything was perfect for our special day. The day of the wedding Heather walked me through everything and it couldn't have turned out any better. I would recommend Heather to anyone.

Heather Rose, our wedding officiant, and her husband, Jeb, were total life savers for doing our LAST MINUTE WEDDING. They were personable and outgoing, the kind of people you'd want to be friends with. :)

Our ceremony was held at their small, cottage like home here in Portland with their daughter, Isabelle (age 6 months...and TOO CUTE!), also present on August 28th, 2011. Considering the economy we didn't have a lot of money to spend and they were more than willing to work with us financially. We also don't have a lot of family left and Jeb nicely stepped up as one of our witnesses. Heather Rose also emailed us a copy of the ceremony beforehand so we could re-write or add to it, which I found very thoughtful. My, now, husband and I wrote our own vows on scrolls and exchanged them during. Everything was beautiful.

Heather Rose was all smiles during the ceremony as were we. Our day couldn't have been more perfect.

There are two major things that my husband and I took with us from our experience with this amazing couple....

1.) Heather Rose collects 2 named friends (like me, Julie anne.) LOL. AND
2.) "Today you will love each other the least". A quote from Jeb that has more truth to it than we could have ever imagined. You never think you could possibly love each other more than your wedding day, but it grows each and every day thereafter and gets stronger.
