My husband, Nick, and I met through eHarmony.  We were both at the point in our lives where we were ready to settle down and embark on life with a special someone.  However, although Nick and I were both ready for a committed relationship, neither of us had anyone in our lives at the present time with whom could fulfill that role.  Hoping to find the "one" was the goal for both of us; however, we were each skeptical about the chances of finding someone on the site.  After exchanging e-mails, we both quickly realized that we had a lot in common and shared similar values and goals.  We had our first date on the hot summer day of June 13, 2010, and shortly after became inseparable.   It's a baffling concept to think that without eHarmony, we most likely would have never met.  Although we lived a mere twenty minutes away from each other, our paths would undoubtedly not have crossed.  At that time, we did not have any mutual friends, we worked in separate career fields, graduated from different schools, attended different churches, and generally had different hobbies.  So, I feel so incredibly blessed that I found my true love in Nicholas -- the loving, patient, & loyal man who complements me while holding me accountable as well as helping me strive to become a better person.
