My name is Jaclyn. I am now a Mrs.! as of April 14, 2012. just a little less than 2 months ago I married the love of my life after being together for a little over 3 yrs.

I loved & hated wedding planning. I was excited about certain things while other things were just really stressful! I can't say I am sad the day has come and gone.

Not everything was perfect but for the most part my wedding day was everything I ever dreamed it would be. In the end, all I really wanted was call him my husband. I learned that weddings are expensive & can cause alot of stress especially if you are not rich & have to save and work really hard. I did have to let go of things& make sacrifices but i never sacrifced anything that was really important to me. I suggest making a list& figuring out what is an absolute must & what isn't cause until you really get into the thick of planning, you might not realize how expensive things are. Definitely have a budget and stick to it. But mostly have fun! it goes fast

I love WW! When I started planning, I didn't have a clue. I was not the girl who had been dreaming about her wedding day since she was five years old. This place has been the most wonderful resource.

I love DIY projects, especially making bouquets with silk/real-touch flowers. So, if you need any help please give me a shout via PM.

The best tips I can give are to use the WW checklist and budget. They are awesome tools! Figure on spending 1/2 of your budget on catering unless you have an all inclusive venue. Photography and DJ were the next big ticket items for me.

Make it fun! Your BP should consist of the people YOU CHOOSE not who someone else tells you should be chosen. That's a great way to avoid a lot of drama.

Find a buddy on WW - it's great to talk to someone who lives, eats and breathes weddings so you can give your FH, family and friends a break from having to listen to it all the time LOL!
