Happily married 🎉

Wedding details
Greg and Cassie first met at Harvey Mudd on a warm summer's eve after Cassie first moved into West dorm for her freshman year of college. They enjoyed a game of four-square with fellow classmates that night. Unknown to both of them at the time, that would be the start of a lasting relationship. They first clicked (or more accurately, didn't click) on the topic of music. Greg discovered that Cassie greatly disliked metal music, much to his dismay, and made it a personal mission of his to introduce her to bands she might enjoy, such as Dream Theater, Opeth, and Dragon Force. In return, she introduced him to movies that he missed out on during his childhood, including classics such as Poltergeist, Gremlins, and Tremors. Despite their differences, they found good company in one another and developed a strong friendship. Both of them, however, were rather slow to realize that there may have been more than a friendship between them. Fortunately, they had their friend Esther to move things along so that on January 25, 2008, Greg and Cassie finally went on their first official date. They enjoyed a game of tennis, then had dinner at an Indian restaurant, and finally went to see a movie (but not before they had some Coldstone ice cream for dessert). Too soon, the year came to an end, and it was time for Greg to get his Masters in Education at Stanford. During that time, the two of them maintained a long-distance relationship. After that school year, Greg was fortunate to find a job at Hart High School, where he has been since he graduated. Cassie completed her degree at Harvey Mudd and moved to downtown LA to continue her education at the University of Southern California. On their 5th anniversary, Greg decided to pop the big questions. They had just finished dinner at Picca and returned to Cassie's apartment. Greg suggested they enjoy ice cream on the rooftop, which oversees the downtown LA skyline. On this rare occasion, Cassie was too full for dessert, so only Greg had ice cream. After Cassie gave Greg her gift (an extremely rare Magic card), she eagerly asked for her gift in return, and that is when Greg asked her to spend the rest of forever with him (and he remembered to get down on one knee!).
