Never expected to be a bride or get married. We are less planning a wedding and more planning a celebration during a Bonding Ritual. We will still need key items like venue, food, and and tables/chairs, but less formal, untraditional, and completely reinventing the meaning behind this type of gathering. I've felt for a long time that many weddings are super cookie cutter and few people even do the research to find out things like, why do we need a flower girl, why does the bride carry a bouquet, and we are not very keen on assigning tables. Ultimately we hope to bring family and close friends together with the intention of blessing our marriage and recreating the sense of community among the people who are the keystones in our lives and what roles they individually play for us and us for them as we grow into our Partnership over the years.

What is something memorable and meaningful that you've seen, or included in your own wedding, that may be outside of standard traditions? We're planning to have a Fantasy themed wedding.
