We were set up on a blind date by a mutual friend.  I hadn't been with anyone for 3 years, and he hadn't been with anyone in several years.  So we went on a bind date with three chaperones just in case things were really bad.  I was totally nervous and he was very nice (his voice was soooo low and very thrilling) and I was totally awkward, I downed 2 long island iced teas just to be able to talk to him.  Two of our group left, and we went to a bar.  After a while, he and his friend walked me home.  His friend left us alone to say goodnight to each other, and a good night kiss turned into a 45 min long kissing and goodbying session.  Adam almost missed the last metro out!  We've been pretty much inseparable ever since -we really found our perfect complement.  2 years later, we're planning our wedding :)
