Excellent, Excellent, Excellent! I thought If I needed a magic wand she might have pulled it out of her bag too! Detail after detail was attended to. Things that I didn't even think were major like the personalized bathroom toiletry kits in the restrooms of the reception venue. They definitely did their job plus some and the direct assistant to my husband and the groomsmen made him feel extra special!!! Most planners only attend to the bride and bridesmaid prior to the event. The groom's assistant even came equipt with beer bottle opener and breath mints! He loved it!

I found the services of Exceptional Event Design to be excellent. They were extremely attentive and provided wonderful alternatives when we were looking to shave the budget.

After I signed the contract and forked over money, Rana Brookins practically vanished. I was planning a destination wedding and wanted someone on the ground to help me out. I hired her well in advance of my wedding and we communicated fine for a while via email. Twice I went up to NY to get wedding stuff, and I wanted her around. She first said she was available, then she cancelled. When I got stationed in Japan, I reached out to here and asked here to coordinate with my mom on details. No dice. I had to change my wedding date, and I asked if she would still be available. She said yea, but after that, communication absolutely ceased. She did some research for my wedding-nothing that panned out- and nothing else. At least she didn't ask me to pay the rest of her fee and she never showed up at my wedding. The few times I got her on the phone, she was always busy.

Bottom line: this was a failed investment and I wouldn't recommend her to anyone.
