I was skeptical about hiring a wedding planner because I wanted to do everything myself, but I’m so glad we went with Serenity Event Planning! We couldn’t have pulled off our special day without Janet as our day-of coordinator. In the months leading up to our wedding, Janet was in constant communication with me and made a point to check-in to make sure I was feeling stress free throughout the duration of the planning process. She answered my texts any time of day or night! Janet’s close attention to details, ideas, patience and hard work are what sets her apart from the rest. I showed her pictures of what I envisioned for my décor on the big day and she executed flawlessly. I didn’t think it was possible, but she brought my ideas to life even better than I could have expected. It was a HUGE sigh of relief arriving to the venue and seeing all of the décor, tables, and miscellaneous items set up hours before our ceremony was set to begin. Throughout the evening, Janet made sure to see that I was enjoying the evening and always had a drink in my hand. She worked exceptionally well with the wedding party and the other vendors I had hired and made sure that the night flowed smoothly. Even if you’re doing DIY décor, florals, etc. like I did and think you don’t need a day-of coordinator, I’m here to tell you that you absolutely DO. Our day would not have went as smoothly as it did without the support of our amazing coordinator, Janet.
