We had the absolute best experience at The Grand Promenade! From start to finish, everything exceeded our expectations. Christa was incredible to work with, so easygoing, responsive, and flexible throughout the entire process, which made planning so much less stressful. The food was truly outstanding. Hands down the best wedding food I’ve ever had, and our guests are still talking about it! The service was seamless, and the bartenders were fantastic, keeping everything running smoothly and creating a fun atmosphere. They worked so well with our wedding planner and all of our vendors, which made the entire day feel effortless and perfectly coordinated. I cannot recommend The Grand Promenade enough. If you’re looking for a beautiful venue with amazing staff and top-tier food and service, this is it!

Professional. Treated my guests well. Flexible. But the food served was okay, the beef was delicious, the chicken was dry and didn’t have much flavor. The hordourves were good, carrots were under cooked. Was expecting better food served at dinner at 132$ a person. Would still recommend but ask for food samples first.

*Typo* We were married 1/2/2021 We are so glad to have chosen Hilton Palacio del Rio as our wedding reception venue! Our ceremony was next door at the Little Church of La Villita and then it was a quick walk to our reception room downstairs in The Stetson Room. The year prior we were instantly sold once we saw how beautiful the Stetson Room was, and the day of the wedding didn’t disappoint either. This venue was a very affordable option for downtown San Antonio, especially considering all the awesome amenities that came with the wedding package. It offered a lot more than other venues that I have toured. The location on the Riverwalk was absolutely perfect for our out-of-town wedding guests to enjoy. The event staff coordinated their in-house catering service perfectly with our wedding timeline and also handled the outside vendors we expected the day of the wedding. We took advantage of the bridal ready-room with lunch package and enjoyed a nice spread of sandwiches, skewers, fruits and cheeses along with mimosas. The dinner was so good! All our guests enjoyed their meals and portion sizes were perfect, no one was hungry at the end of the night. The event and hotel staff were so friendly and helpful. There was excellent communication from scheduling our very first tour to our farewell day after the wedding!

Working with the Hyatt Regency Hill Country team was an absolute dream. They helped in absolutely every aspect and made something that can be very stressful, a breeze! My wedding day was more than I could have ever imagined and I truly could not imagine having a better team or venue.

Canyon Springs was the perfect place to have our wedding. Everyone there was very professional and helpful if my wife and I ever needed anything. The waterfall backdrop is something all of our guests have talked about and the pictures we have seen so far have looked amazing. Being on the edge of the city and the hill country, it was the perfect location. Plenty of hotels and Airbnb’s nearby for guests, but never heard any outside noise from anything not involving our wedding. We truly got to get away from everything and just focus on being with friends and family for the night.

I fell in love with the Hotel Contessa 5 years before my wedding when my cousin toured it while searching for venues. When it was my turn to choose a venue, we looked at quite a few other places, but I kept coming back to the Contessa with it’s gorgeous lobby, patio, access to marriage island, view of the river, and river level reception room. We were treated wonderfully by the staff at every step of the process, even though they were going through the process of adjusting to new ownership and staff changes. I can’t even begin to express my gratitude to all the wonderful staff members who were so kind and treated us like family. Monica, Rosa, Victor, Mauricio, Joe, Luz, Elise, Patricia, Toribio, & Natalia were all so wonderful. I’m sure I’m missing some names! Setting up the hotel block was incredibly easy and flexible, and the rooms are gorgeous. Our wedding suite had a living room area with plenty of room for getting ready, and the staff delivered some champagne and chocolate covered strawberries to our room after the wedding. When we got there, one of our guests needed to change rooms to be closer to us because they had a toddler with them, and the front desk was so quick and gracious with moving them into a new room. The staff worked so hard to make sure everything was exactly as I imagined it and set up the reception room and patio so beautifully. The river level reception room was the perfect size for 70 people and a DJ, and it’s so pretty on its own that we barely had to do any decorating. Because it’s a hotel right on the river, it was also a perfect hub for hanging out all weekend. Guests would use the river level lobby to hang out, get drinks and catch up, and then explore the riverwalk. It was so easy to spend more time with guests individually as they came and went through the lobby, and it made getting ready the day of so simple because we didn’t have travel between getting dressed and the ceremony. We had live music for the ceremony and cocktail hour, and it was an easy process to get our guitarist set up on the patio. The drinks and food were all delicious, and given how prices have been going up for so long now, it was honestly a pleasant surprise at how affordable it was compared to other venues/caterers given how fancy everything felt. We had an open bar for cocktail hour and dinner, appetizers, and a complementary vegetarian option, so we didn’t have to worry about making sure our guests had options. The staff also went out of their way to make sure we ate because you so often hear about how the bride and groom missed out on food during the wedding (shout-out to Victor and Mauricio!). Honestly, everything was so perfect, and I can’t recommend them enough! If you have the opportunity to have your wedding at The Hotel Contessa, you definitely should.

From start to finish, our experience at The Gardens at West Green was perfect. Karen went above and beyond to ensure everything ran smoothly, and the location itself was breathtaking. The venue is a beautiful blend of elegance and charm, with stunning views that provide the perfect backdrop for our ceremony and reception.

The title of this review doesn't even scratch the surface. When we first started looking, we had the Menger high on our list due to the role it played in our relationship (our first stay vacation!) and how beautiful it is. I was elated to find out how responsive, helpful, creative, and kind the team at the Menger is. They answered my (many, many) questions promptly and thoroughly. I never felt confused by the process or like I would be blindsided. They were up front about everything and willing to work with me on different ideas. The pricing is also a really strong point here, as it is well priced and well worth the cost. Leading up to the wedding, the team took care of so much and were so flexible with letting us into the rooms early to set up, and even changing some of the decorations that day because yes, they have items like charger plates and candle sticks already there! They helped with signage for the cocktails and direction plaues in the hotel, and they even made sure they had ingrediants for our signautre cocktails on hand. They made the whole experience so easy and fun and I really can't recommend them more. It's a beautiful space, with so much character, and the whole team, from the catering planning department to the servers to the bartenders to even the kind people at the front desk made it such a wonderful experience. Weddings are hard and kind of a mess to plan, but this is one decision that can be easy to make. Happy planning!

We are so glad we chose The Dominion Country Club for our wedding reception! Madelyn was an absolute pleasure to work with and made the entire process feel seamless from start to finish. The food was truly exceptional, and Chef Joseph Martinez did an incredible job. Our guests were so impressed with the menu, and the food ended up being one of the most talked-about and complimented parts of our special day. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience!

I could write a novel about how seamless and perfect the Sheraton Gunter was for our wedding. First and foremost, EVERYONE: David (wedding coordinator), front desk receptionists, valet, were all exceptional! The transition from Tina (former wedding coordinator) to David Puente was nothing but easy. The Sheraton went above and beyond for our family during our planning process. They were all so helpful and amazing. Now the day of our wedding was magical. The Crystal ballroom was my exact vision for our wedding. The servers were all so kind and attentive. Everything was just what I hoped it would be. Now lastly, why I would recommend the Sheraton Gunter to any upcoming bride out there is my husband forgot in the honeymoon suite an envelope of A LOT of money (cash and check). The next day we called and they were able to find it. We were thinking it will probably be either an empty envelope or just the checks. To our surprise, EVERYTHING was in there. So that just shows the Sheraton Gunter have an amazing staff from every department. We loved our experience with the Sheraton Gunter and cannot recommend them and David Puente enough!
