What services does a wedding florist provide?

Flower processing and storage: Once your flowers arrive to your florist, he or she will take several hours (often a whole day!) to process your flowers (taking thorns off of roses, counting the flowers, etc.) and storing them in a refrigerated space to ensure they look amazing on your wedding day.
Labor and production: Now, it’s time for your florist to create those beautiful arrangements! Each arrangement takes time to design (probably more than you would think!), so it’s quite a long process.

Maria from Moonlight Iris did the flowers for my wedding in March. When I first started working with her, I had a very specific idea of what I wanted, but had never seen it before, so Maria was working off of just my ideas. And I was so blown away with what she did! My husband and I had specific flowers we wanted incorporated to honor dear family members, so it meant a lot to us to have Maria bring that vision to life so well. Because of her, our flowers felt like one of the most meaningful and special parts of our day. In general, Maria was communicative, easy to work with, and very helpful. She hopped on calls with me when I had questions, and she clearly listened to my vision and knew exactly how to bring it to fruition. She had great advice and ideas, and I can’t recommend working with Moonlight Iris enough!

We contacted Salwa to be my daughter’s ceremony coordinator because we were sure we didn’t need one for all day. About a week before the wedding I came to my senses and asked Salwa to come save my bacon. You think you’ll have all these hours to decorate and arrange and organize and you just DON’T. I gave Salwa and Dee some totes full of pictures, signs, floral supplies and candles and they created the most beautiful entrance tables, cocktail centerpieces with bud vases and some fresh flowers, and dining room tables with centerpieces and candles. Everything looked lush and gorgeous and dreamy and they even prayed with me when I had a Moment about three hours before the wedding. I wish I lived closer so we could meet for lunches!! Love love

She was very knowledgeable and understood my vision to a T and brought it to life. I went through her Instagram page and found a picture of a bouquet that I loved and she recreated it for me with the flowers that we talked about. Our goal was to have all the spring pastel colors worked into the flowers and she nailed it. Janice delivered all of the flowers, the morning of the wedding, and they held up so well! My bouquet, all the bridesmaids bouquets, my husband’s boutonniere, and the corsages were all so meticulously created and looked so good! I could not be happier with how everything turned out!! No detail was left out and the variety of flowers that coordinated with our colors and theme was impressive to say the least. The bouquets were gorgeous, the boutonnieres matched perfectly, and the centerpieces for the tables really transformed our venue space... but Rockell and Adam went above and beyond to also create and install custom hanging floral chandeliers. I couldn't have asked for anything more!
