WHAT A BEAUTIFUL & UNIQUE VENUE!! All the natural beauty of a farm, combined with all the modern-day comforts, made the Barn at Walnut Grove the perfect location for our daughter’s September 2025 wedding. We had visited several venues searching for the rustic atmosphere my daughter desired, but they all were just missing something – then we found The Barn and our hosts Dave & Donna. From the initial visit, my daughter was in contact with Donna, who answered our numerous questions and gave us access to the venue for engagement photos and throughout the planning process. The venue offers a private setting, that is yours for the entire day, from getting ready in the spacious bridal and groomsmen suites, to the picturesque ceremony site situated high upon a hill, to the outdoor patio setting for cocktail hour, and then the beautiful climate-controlled indoor reception area in the barn, with its own bar and a large dance floor. There are numerous beautifully manicured outdoor settings and picturesque views to capture the event in photos and videos. Navigating around the venue is done in style, with a private bus and shuttles, and our happy couple even utilized the zipline for an exciting arrival to the reception. We also held our rehearsal dinner at the on-site Cigar Lounge and patio, closing the night with a gathering around the fire pit. We utilized the venue’s preferred caterer for both our rehearsal dinner and wedding reception and we received numerous compliments on both. From the impressive charcuterie table and butlered appetizers, dinner buffet, and even late-night snacks – there was plenty of food and it was all delicious. The service and bar staff were professional, efficient, and accommodating – even providing specialty mocktails my daughter requested. We received many compliments on the venue and staff from our guests and we are truly happy we hosted our daughter’s wedding at The Barn @ Walnut Grove.

We had our ceremony and reception at CJ Hummels in September. The whole experience was fantastic. Rosy/Ashley were amazing as we planned our event, met with us all during the process to finalize our details. The day of the everything was set up perfectly at 8am already as we arrived to decorate and start getting ready. Ashley ensured we had snacks/drinks, she helped coordinate as vendors dropped off flowers/cake, etc. All the staff during the reception were fantastic at assisting guests, clearing tables, and bartending. Ashley ensured that the bride and groom got a chance to eat themselves! At the end of the night Ashley assisted us with gathering our things, we didn't feel rushed that we had to be out. We priced out many different venues/food options and CJ Hummel's is truly an affordable one stop shop! We had our ceremony, reception, food, drinks and some decorations provided. It made finding the few vendors we needed (Flowers, Cake, DJ, Photographer) less stressing.
