Communication with the vendor were always timely and professional. Everything with our wedding day ran smoothly and just as expected. The venue itself is beautiful and made decorating so easy! Could not be happier with the service we received at Doc's Dance Hall and Event Center!

Our wedding was 2 years in the making because of health concerns and Kylee was there every step of the way up to the wedding making sure it was perfect and she was there every step the day of the wedding . She’s truly more than just the owner of holland gardens . She does it all ! , She’s a friend to us at this point and our wedding would have been perfect without her and her staff . I can’t recommend HG enough !

This venue is very pretty and we loved having the option to use the larger or smaller ballrooms (based on guest count). We planned on using the Mt Vernon room due to having about 130 guests, however we found out our photo booth we had booked would not fit. Our coordinator Breanna called to make sure we were okay with moving our wedding to the larger main ballroom (same price). It was so nice not having to worry about how we would fit everything and that they had already figured it out for us! All the staff was friendly, our food and alcohol was delicious and we were able to come set up the day before. I highly recommend this venue for any event you may need!

We’d like to thank the team at the Hiltons at Toledo Downtown for the wonderful job they did for our daughter’s wedding!  Our special thanks to Katelyn Dancer, Catering & Events Manager, for her support, professionalism, attention to detail and unending patience.  The wedding was in July 2025, and we worked with Katelyn and the staff at the Hilton for over 14 months planning and executing an event that exceeded our expectations.  Throughout this time, Katelyn answered every phone call, text and email quickly, efficiently and effectively.   Our daughter & son-in-law had their wedding ceremony and reception at the Hiltons.  With over 200 guests, we were not sure the hotel could accomplish the “flip of the room” from ceremony to full reception, but they executed this flawlessly - no easy feat!  Katelyn and the staff did so much to make the entire day perfect. The service, attention to detail and professionalism was top notch. Katelyn, my daughter and I met numerous times to discuss layout, timelines, decor.  Katelyn and the Hiltons listened to what we were looking for and delivered beyond our expectations.     The beautiful and recently remodeled venue speak for themselves, but what you can’t get from a website is a taste for the actual food, which was exceptional!  In fact, multiple guests raved about all three of the main menu entree items we offered and everything that went with them was delicious as well.  During the planning process we met with Chef Alex, for food tasting, he was wonderful.  He was so engaged and more than willing to curate some fun and unique appetizers and menu items, which made things even more special.  It is not easy to serve 220 hot plated meals, while also catering to guests with dietary restrictions (all of these special dietary needs were noted and extra care was taken to ensure the comfort and safety of our guests), and hit a culinary home run, but that was our experience.  Bravo team Hilton!   At the wedding we had over two dozen guests, who availed themselves of overnight accommodations, from all over the USA and as far away as Ireland and England.  They were all very pleased with the hotel rooms at the Hilton Garden Inn & Homewood Suites in downtown Toledo.  They enjoyed the amenities and convenience of the location during their visit.  A number of our guests were traveling alone and reported that they felt very safe and comfortable at the hotel too, which was important to us.    Katelyn Dancer and the staff at Hiltons at Toledo Downtown are well connected and respected by the variety of vendors we used, which helped make many of the finer details easier to address.  If we had more than one daughter, we would love to host another wedding at the Downtown Hiltons, we gladly recommend and endorse Katelyn Dancer and the Hiltons Downtown Toledo for any wedding or event you may be planning.

I really enjoyed working with Minette, she was so easy to work with and very accommodating. The covered pavilion was perfect for my ceremony! The Barn is beautiful inside, which made decorating easy because you didn’t need much! We had about 175 guests including vendors and that felt comfortable! The tables, chairs, linens, & string lights are included, you have access to the bridal suite at 8 am the morning of which was plenty of time to set up and get ready, and the barn was air conditioned. The only down falls, were the smaller bridal suite to get ready (we had 13 total girls up there including hair and make up artists) and the bathrooms have a strong sulfur smell due to the well water. Other than those minor things we definitely recommend having your wedding at The Barn!

Had a wonderful experience with Sycamore Event Center and Moreno Catering!!! Very responsive to my emails and all my questions! They were friendly and reasonably priced for both the food and venue!! I highly recommend them!! The venue center was so pretty and we got lots of compliments!! Love that we had lots of good options to choose from for food! The rolls were amazing!! I would recommend this venue and catering for any wedding!!

They helped plan a wedding in a short amount of time and it went great. Would recommend, they are very helpful and listen to what you want

Best food and amazing prices 10/10 would recommend. Only issue was the bar shut down ten minutes before we closed. Michelle was absolutely amazing to work.

The Sullivan Center is a hidden gem! I am not sure why more couples do not hold their wedding receptions here! Diana is wonderful to work with and easy to get a hold of. The hall itself is neutral and big enough to hold plenty of people comfortably (our reception was about 260). The dance floor is huge and split down the middle of the hall so everyone is able to see without having to stand up or being right on the dance floor. There is plenty of parking and there is security for the duration of the event. I 100% recommend this hall for your wedding reception, you will not regret it!
