Availability for 2026 and 2027weddings! Gideon Owen Wine Company, located on Catawba Island, Ohio, is a historic winery that was remodeled in 2020, offering historic charm with a modern flair. Located an hour between Cleveland and Toledo, Gideon Owen has beautiful outdoor gardens for your ceremony or say "I Do" in our 150-year-old Wine Cellar.
Facilities and Capacity
At Gideon Owen Wine Company, Ohio couples can exchange vows in the 150-year-old Wine Cellar or amidst the scenic outdoor gardens. With customizable event spaces offering breathtaking views of Lake Erie, this property ensures unforgettable moments that are tailored to each couple's love story. The Overlook, a repurposed and historic cabin, makes a great space for a wedding party to prepare and relax before the ceremony. You can wed outdoors in The Cellar Garden or indoors in the European-inspired Wine Cellar. The Lime Kiln Falls and the Vineyard Room provide marvelous spaces for a cocktail hour, while the Loft can host up to 100 guests. The Ballroom is the largest of the indoor spaces. Up to 180 seated guests may enjoy this first-floor hall, which has wood beams, a chandelier, limestone walls, and a fireplace.
