Wedding Caterers in Rochester

We are so happy we went with Madeline’s Catering for our wedding. They were responsive and helpful with planning our menu. We chose to have the hand-passed hors d’oeuvres for our cocktail hour and the buffet style dinner. They took care of everything seamlessly. The staff were extremely helpful and kind the day of the wedding. We received many compliments regarding the food and service from our guests. Would definitely recommend Madeline’s Catering!

BTU Events (aka Celebrate Events) bartended for our wedding. They provided an incredible (top shelf) bar at a fraction of the cost other catering companies were asking. They were professional, and gave our guests outstanding service. Any changes we wanted to make to our menu, they were happy to accommodate. They provided alcohol and non-alcoholic beverages (our wedding was on a very hot summer day and they totally took care of making water bottles abundantly available to everyone), 2 professionally dressed and skilled bartenders (guests said they were very competent in making cocktails), and glassware. They are licensed and insured, as well, which was a necessity for our venue Hurd Orchards.

We chose to use MicGinny's for our caterer for our wedding because of a family friend who recommended their service from their own events. After seeing the full process through, we completely understand why this friend uses MicGinny's exclusively for all of their events. The planning process was so simple. You can see all of their menu options online. If you want the ability to taste the food ahead of time, you can visit any time and get the same quality off their regular menu. Sal, the owner, is so wonderful to work with. He is passionate and knowledgeable. Knowing that my venue was on the smaller side, it was comforting to me that he knew the location and had catered events there before. It made it that much easier during the planning process because he knew exactly what I was trying to convey and was able to make it happen. Not only was he great to plan with, but he executed the plan better than I could have ever imagined. His team was invisible the entire night. They maneuvered the tight venue with ease and efficiency so that my guests were taken care of and barely knew they were there. Another plus was, the food was phenomenal. Most wedding buffets are hit or miss when it comes to the actual day of product, but not mine! The food was so fresh, and so delicious. Everyone raved about each dish served! MicGinny's also provided an affordable bar package that fit our needs. There was a great variety of drinks served, and I was able to relax and know that everything was covered by one organization in a professional, organized and safe fashion. Lastly, our cake was provided by a family member, but she was able to enjoy the entire reception because Sal took care of the display and cutting for her. This meant the world to my husband and I because it showed that he was willing to go above and beyond for us in order to ensure our day was special for not just us but also our guests. I will be sure to utilize MicGinny's for all of our future catering needs!

Plunkett’s fabulous foods was our 1st and only choice for catering our wedding because of our numerous past experiences with this catering service. We love Susan’s food! Susan gave us great ideas for all of the food choices and drinks, including choices to meet the needs of those with special dietary needs. The food was fantastic, the presentation was beautiful and all of the staff were professional and easy to work with.

Christopher’s Time Square catered my October 2010 wedding in Cathedral Hall at the Auditorium Center (Rochester, NY). He and his staff were amazing. First off, I didn't have to hire a wedding coordinator because Paul took care of everything. He set up the room (which looked fantastic), helped plan the room layout and timing of the reception, his staff was so friendly and responsive (the servers made sure that my husband and I had drinks and food all night, which I really appreciated), and the food was delicious! And I'm a bit of a foodie, if that tells you anything. Plus, the prices were really very reasonable. I would highly and wholeheartedly recommend Christopher's Time Square again and again.

Pattie and her team were AMAZING. Pattie coordinated the whole event (including the tent ordering/placement). The food/menu was excellent and accommodated different restrictions . Her staff are lovely- prompt, friendly and attentive. I will absolutely use Pattie again and highly recommend her.

Farmhouse Table hit the mark in every way. The menu delighted the senses of lifelong vegans and omnivores alike. Much appreciation to Jessica and Kati and the whole team for taking such good care of our guests on our special day :)

GreenZebra catered a lovely breakfast/brunch event for us. The staff who delivered the food was excellent, very professional and efficient. Although some of the favorite dishes were called out by name (bacon, quiche, brioche bread pudding), all the guests agreed that every single item was scrumptious. One of the guests commented that it was somewhat “like a Thanksgiving meal, the whole was more than the sum of the parts”. We highly recommend them, no reservations!

Julia and her amazing team stepped in at the last minute to help out me and my family when we found ourselves without a caterer less than two months before my wedding and in the height of Rochester's busy wedding season. She went above and beyond to extend her own schedule to accommodate us and made sure that the menu planning process was both fun and easy. She created a custom family style menu for us that was unique and worked seamlessly with our dietary restrictions. Most importantly, the food was out of this world amazing! Everything was mouth wateringly good and was served nice and hot. I enjoyed every minute working with her and her team and will absolutely use her again for my next event!

Kevin and his staff provided us with the most Beautiful appetizers and were stunningly plated as well as Delicious. Kevin was extremely helpful with choosing what to have on a Hot wedding day. Our guests gave us rave feed back. We now are hooked on Kevin and his team and Highly recommend him for your catered events! Thanks again Kevin
