Chef Colin and his staff were awesome! The food and presentation were outstanding and the decor/flowers from Blythe House were amazing! Everyone was a pleasure to work with and all the guests commented on how great everything turned out despite heavy rain forcing the ceremony to move inside at the last minute! The staff went above and beyond to make our big day so special!

I highly recommend having your wedding/wedding reception at Fox Hollow Farm! They were incredible to work with and so accommodating. Any question we had, they got back to us in a timely manner. The place is so beautiful and there is plenty of space for everyone to mingle and party!

My now husband and I didn't know exactly what we wanted, but we knew exactly what we didn't want. We didn't want a large wedding and we didn't want too much hassle - all while ensuring we didn't settle for less. When I came across The Ell Hotel, I knew it was THE spot and my entire wedding vision came together. After talking it over with my partner, now we knew what we wanted; intimate and sophisticated. That's exactly what we got... and more! Ellen made the entire process easy, fun, and exciting! I planned things on my own, but she assisted in every way she could! I'm talking food, drinks, activities, rentals... You name it and she has a contact or can help. What more could I ask for? We made our wedding an entire weekend event by hosting the dinner rehearsal on Friday catered by Angie's in town via a taco truck! Saturday was wedding day. Our ceremony was held in the front courtyard gardens surrounded by family and friends sitting INSIDE the garden! A perfectly curated dinner with Spanish and Southern American dishes were served buffet style. Different food items were located throughout different rooms of the downstairs. We had setting set up in the dining room, the sunroom, and additional tables outside. We chose to forego the traditional route of having a dance floor or DJ. Instead we utilized the speakers throughout the home to play soft jazz music that was loud enough for folks to hear, but quiet enough for conversations to be had. Our immediate family rented out the extra three rooms, while we the couple stayed in the Pink Room as our suite. Sunday we had finger style breakfast foods and coffee for folks to come by and say hello as they returned home as most of our guests were out of towners. I can't say enough positive things about my experience with Ellen and The Ell Hotel itself. If you're looking for a sign, here it is - go with The Ell!
