I had 7 bridesmaids and 2 flowers girls who got their hair done here. Every single one of them said if they lived closer they would swtich from their current salon to Lasting Impressions. This is a very small unassuming salon in a strip mall Crystal Lake. The stylists are hair artisits. Every girls hair looked fantastic and exceeded their expectations. They closed the salon for us (something other salons would not do) so it was an intimate gathering with my bridal party before the ceremony. Everything ran on time. The makeup was great was well. They use Aveda products. The stylists were fun and up to date on the current hair trends. Reasonably priced and very flexible. Loved it!

Aaron was so great to work with for my wedding day makeup! He is so skilled in what he does. My airbrush makeup turned out amazing and was just what I wanted--natural yet flattering. He really took his time during the trial to assess my skin and try different things, and he adapted my look perfectly for the wedding day based on his recommendations and my thoughts after wearing the trial makeup. His approach is personalized and realistic. I also appreciated his expertise and focus on skincare in his makeup work given that skincare is very important to me due to my long journey with acne scar management. He was an absolute perfect match for me and brought so much joy and fun to my wedding day. His studio is also so cute and comforting. I would recommend Aaron for any and all makeup needs!
