Although I did not know it at the time, hiring the Derek Mack Band was the best and most important decision I could’ve possibly made for my daughter‘s wedding reception. From the moment Derek and his band members took the stage, all the guests were saying “wow”. By way of reference, I have hosted over 100 corporate events in my business career. The cocktail reception my daughter‘s wedding was the best I have ever attended. By the end of the cocktail hour, virtually all the guests were on the dance floor before dinner. I have never seen anything like it. It was so much fun. The music set after dinner was even better. The depth of songs that the Derek Mack Band was able to play and the singers they had to sing them, blew everyone away. Virtually everyone that attended the reception told me that it was the best wedding ever. I already knew the reason why but I asked anyway and they said the Derek Mack Band. On top of that, Derek visited the venue several times to make sure everything would go off perfectly and it did. His professionalism and attention to detail were not only appreciated but admired. The quality of the sound of the music for an outdoor venue was amazing which I attribute to his fantastic stage crew. Needless to say, the Derek Mack Band exceeded every expectation that we had. I give the Derek Mack Band my highest recommendation and would be happy to discuss my experience with anyone considering hiring them. We hold Derek, his band members and crew in the highest esteem. We are so grateful for such an unforgettable wedding night for my daughter.

Wonderama was absolutely amazing. Our wedding was small - 76 people - but this band had everyone dancing all night! There were several people who had never been to a wedding with a live band and we were SHOWERED with compliments the whole time. It was truly a special touch that made our wedding unique and an amazing time. From the amazing music solos, to the vocal and dancing performances, they brought the energy. We had a sax player during cocktail hour who was fantastic and everyone raved about. All the band members were also extremely kind, and before the reception, one of the singers noticed us practicing our first dance and even offered to sing while we practiced so we could make sure our choreography was fine. Bradley was great to work with as well and the entire band set up was very smooth and timely. They made our wedding incredible! We would definitely recommend them and look forward to going to their local shows.

Keith found us a really cool steel drummer for our cocktail hour, who made all of our out of town family and friends truly feel like they were at a destination wedding. They loved it! And a huge shout out to our DJ, Matt Masso, who was phenomenal! He was so personable, kept the reception moving and on track… and kept EVERYONE on the dance floor the entire time! He was terrific! This company was very easy to work with, and allowed us to go and meet and listen to our DJ before we booked him. He played all of our requested music… and so much more! Jim was recommended to us by a friend who saw him play at a party. We are so happy that we chose him to play and DJ our wedding reception this weekend at PGA National. Jim plays guitar, sings and DJ. He has a wonderful voice and sounded great! He is very calm, easy to work with and professional. He did a great job listening to what we wanted and executed everything perfectly. He kept the party going and everyone had a great time! I would highly recommend him and would definitely hire him again. Thank you so much Jim!!

We first crossed paths with Marcia Mitchell Music & Events/MMB in September 2022 for our Centennial Celebration in Cleveland, OH. Together, we shared a thrilling experience we referred to as "ONE FOR THE AGES" in a previous review. Long story short, that performance left us speechless and "IN AWE" of this SENSATIONAL BAND!! Fast forward 20 months and VIOLA...once again we partnered with Marcia and MMB and they "touched down" in downtown Cleveland for the University Hospitals Rainbow Babies & Children's "Ride the Rainbow" event in early May 2024. Never in a million years did we think it was even remotely possible for MMB to surpass their 2022 performance but sure as can be, THEY ABSOLUTELY DID and... "Oh, what a night it was!!" The EXTRAORDINARY TALENT and ASTOUNDING STAGE PRESENCE of every member of this dynamic band, coupled with their "electric" connection and personal interaction with the guests, left all in attendance on "CLOUD NINE". If you're looking for an elite and exquisite party band full of passion and professionalism, look no further as MMB is your band! Marcia and MMB are "MAGICAL" in every sense of the word and absolutely just the very best in the business.
