Highly recommend hiring Nexus Strings for your special event. I hired them for my wedding in September 2023 and they made the day so magical and special. They played during the ceremony and cocktail hour, and have an extensive repertoire of both classical and contemporary music to pick from. As a musician myself, I can attest to the quality of their performance and cannot say enough how great they were. Kayla was very communicative and easy to work with through the booking and planning process, and overall I thought the value was well worth it.

Julia performed for our wedding and we wanted music that better matched our personalities. Instead of Canon in D (the famous wedding song), she performed music from Howl’s Moving Castle for the bride. She also performed music from Final Fantasy and Mario for us, and we couldn’t have asked for a better musician for our wedding day. We highly recommend Julia!

We hired the 5280 String Quartet for our wedding. From the start, Gavon, was extremely responsive and the whole process of securing them to play was very easy. We were provided with a very large song list to pick the songs we wanted and submitting them through their portal was quick and easy. Our Quartet arrived on time, set up and were ready to play in a matter of minutes and all that was required from us were chairs for them to use while playing. They played as guests arrived, for our wedding and cocktail hour. Many of our guests commented on how amazing they were and how great the music sounded. We would strongly recommend the 5280 String Quartet for your event.

I can’t say enough wonderful things about Christen and her string quartet! From the very first conversation, Christen’s responsiveness, communication, creativity, and kindness stood out. It was such a joy stepping into her world and feeling her passion for music as we planned the ceremony and cocktail hour music for my wedding day. The quartet was timely, looked amazing, and played some of the most ethereal music I’ve ever heard. As the bride, my only regret was not being able to listen to every single song they played! A particularly special moment was receiving an MP3 recording of the song I walked down the aisle to—something I’ll treasure forever. Having a string quartet at my wedding was always a dream of mine, and Christen brought that dream to life in the most magical way. Thank you, Christen, for making my day so unforgettable. Unbelievably talented and absolutely IDEAL wedding musician... seriously you will not find better. We are still watching the video and marveling at how perfect he made every part of our wedding ceremony and he also was willing to play during the reception afterwards. We are hoping to rehire him for our anniversary celebration at the same location (which he drove 70+ miles to in December, another outstanding thing about him), because he's that one rare pearl of a musician you don't find twice in a lifetime.
