Ryan performed during our wedding ceremony at the Denver Botanic Gardens and I will never be able to say enough about how truly talented he is and how wonderful he was to work with! Ryan learned two new songs for our wedding day, one being a slowed-down version of You've Got a Friend in Me that he put his twist on that I walked down the aisle to as a surprise to my husband in honor of his late mother who loved the Toy Story movies and it was just the most beautiful thing that the two of us will cherish forever. On top of all the millions of other compliments I could give Ryan's talent and professionalism, I also want to say that he set the cadence for our entire wedding ceremony. We did not have a coordinator or wedding party and I walked myself down the aisle, so I was worried about timing and knowing the right cues to start the ceremony, have our ring bearer walk down the aisle, and to start walking down the aisle myself, so I emailed Ryan some of my ideas about songs and ceremony timing and he knocked it out of the park. He kicked us off on time, set the perfect tone for everything, and then even played out our pastor instrumentally during a final prayer and picked up with the vocals after we were announced husband and wife. It was absolutely perfect and magical and we couldn't have asked for anything better!

We loved every little detail of our wedding day, but I really think that the music will be the way we're able to forever connect back to those memories so vividly, which we are so incredibly thankful for.

Ryan was so great to work with for our wedding event-- responsive, flexible, and so talented! Multiple guests came up to me as they were awestruck by his voice and wanted his info! His discography is expansive, which made it so easy to select 60+ songs for our event. I really hope I have the pleasure of working with him again in the future!

Without a doubt, I Highly Recommend Ryan Hutchens as a performer if you are considering one for an event. Ryan played for 3 hours at my wife and I'd intimate wedding in Steamboat Springs this past October. Despite difficult driving conditions he showed up on time, performed an incredible set list, and made our special day as perfect as we would have hoped. Ryan is professional, incredibly talented, attentive, and super responsive. 10/10

Ryan was such a wonderful addition to our wedding at Granby Ranch, CO! He played an acoustic set at our wedding as our guests arrived as well as our ceremony music. He is so talented and did a fantastic job kicking off our wedding with his beautiful music! We were so impressed by his ability to learn a song we requested — making I Believe In A Thing Called Love by the Darkness — and make it into a beautiful acoustic song to walk down the aisle to. If you’re considering adding an acoustic musician to your wedding day or event, we 100% recommend going with Ryan!

Ryan was great to work with, reasonably priced, and very flexible with what we were looking for. He was willing to not only perform during our wedding but also at the reception in a small restaurant that we had rented out. He let us decide on what songs we wanted to be played and offered a wide range of songs and artists. He even has original songs he can perform (which we ended up using for walking down the aisle to). He will also learn a specific song if its something he doesn't already play, which he did for us for our first dance. He made the entire experience wonderful! You won't regret booking Ryan if you want a unique, intimate, and profession musician for your wedding!!

My husband and I cannot say enough great things about Ryan! He played guitar and provided vocals for our ceremony, cocktail hour, and first dance - He did an incredible job. He was great at communication and worked with us as we navigated song choice. He handled the timing and coordination of the music in our ceremony with ease! We absolutely loved working with Ryan and would recommend working with him to anyone. Ryan played at our wedding ceremony in June 2022 and his music undoubtedly made the day much more meaningful and special. He is an incredibly talented artist and his music at our ceremony truly set the tone for the day. Beyond his musical talents, Ryan was simply an exceptional person to work with. He was always prompt, responsive, kind, and organized, making it a breeze to work with him. He went above and beyond to learn one of our favorite songs, Three Rounds and a Sound by Blind Pilot, for our wedding day, and him doing so led to a really lovely, impromptu moment for a first dance of sorts at our otherwise elopement style wedding. In other words, his music led to one of our favorite moments of the day that we definitely wouldn't have had otherwise and we're so grateful we chose to have him there for the day. Ryan's timing was impeccable, all of our guests raved about his music/talent, and he truly helped to set the ambiance for our ceremony. Ryan was so easy to work with, kind, communicative, professional and obviously extremely talented. My fiancé and I had requested songs that weren't on his cover list and he learned them, no problem. All of our guests couldn't stop raving about him! I would highly recommend him for anyone looking to add a live acoustic artist to their special day (or any event)!

Ryan was wonderful to work with for our outdoor fall wedding at Camp Hale. We had an outdoor ceremony and cocktail hour that we wanted acoustic music for. We wanted a rustic summer-camp feel that complemented the natural beauty of the venue and Ryan was the perfect touch to bringing this dream to life. His catalogue of songs was quite long so we felt like we had a great selection of music to choose from when planning the day. He was also willing to learn a new song that we had specially requested for the bridal processional. Ryan’s music was beautiful and set the perfect ambiance for our ceremony and cocktail hour, and he was super enjoyable to work with throughout the whole process. We booked Ryan for our wedding ceremony and cocktail hour. He has been awesome to work with since the beginning. He's organized and professional. We had a phone call where he got to know our style and sent us a song list to review, and then he handled the rest! His original music is so good that I used a couple of his songs in my ceremony. All my guests loved his music too. Even the venue loved him and wants to book him for future events! The day of the ceremony, our officiant's wireless mic wasn't working. Ryan stepped in and let us borrow his microphone. Saved the day! Doesn't hurt that he is attractive and well dressed too :-) I would absolutely book him again.
