Flying Horse Resort & Club

We recently celebrated my son and daughter-in-law's wedding at Flying Horse Resort & Club, and it was nothing short of a dream come true. From start to finish, the entire experience was seamless, thanks in large part to our incredible wedding coordinator—patient, organized, reliable, and effortlessly working behind the scenes to ensure everything went perfectly.

With a bridal party of 14 plus the bride and groom, there were many moving parts, but everything came together beautifully. The food was absolutely stellar—our guests are still raving about the delicious menu and outstanding drinks. The venue itself was impeccable, with every detail attended to and not a single thing out of place. The staff was warm and friendly on every level.

It truly felt like a fairytale wedding, and we couldn’t be more grateful. Flying Horse exceeded our expectations in every way. They are true professionals in every sense of the word, and we would recommend them without hesitation to anyone planning a special event.

I was originally going to host my wedding ceremony at Castlewood Canyon State Park, but I happened to find this venue on Google Maps and decided to take a peek. It was so elegant and stunning, I immediately fell in love with the Tuscan style and knew I had to get married there. I did the elopement package in the Rotunda room. The room is all windows and has an amazing view of the mountains. It was just perfect at sunset, all my guests were going out on the patio to take photos. The ceremony in front of the three-tiered fountain was gorgeous. The food was incredible. Stacy is an amazing event planner and it was a joy working with her. She took great care of us. I am sad that it's over and looking forward to going back to the restaurant for a date night!

My daughter had her wedding all planned and 3 weeks before the date she had to cancel with another venue due to uncertain restrictions. We called The Club at Flying Horse to see what they could do. They not only were able to host the wedding and reception but gave my daughter and her new husband a complementary night stay. They were great to work with and highly recommend them. The outdoor setting was perfect with snow capped Pikes Peak in the background.

The Club at Flying Horse is the perfect wedding venue. They take care of everything, and are so kind! The food and drinks were out of this world. Our guests could not stop complimenting how amazing everything was! Prices are super reasonable for the quality you receive. I cannot recommend them enough!

Our wedding rehearsal brunch was outstanding at The Steakhouse at Flying Horse in Colorado Springs. From the very beginning with Diane Bice, the staff was professional, courteous and made our event memorable. Diane’s friendly and personal nature makes me want to return to enjoy the ambience and her pleasant smile and welcoming character. We had 25 family and friends in the rotunda and during COVID, it was the perfect setting with access to the outdoor patio. It was a perfect backdrop to Pikes Peak and the front range. The food was fantastic…gourmet type brunch foods and well-displayed and covered/served. The Bloody Mary and Mimosas were also a welcomed touch to the day and we never ran out. Overall, a fantastic brunch—I highly recommend catering your event at The Steakhouse at Flying Horse.

If you are looking for a place to have your reception after a wedding at the USAFA Chapel, look no further. Diane, the even coordinator at the Club at Flying Horse, is absolutely one of my favorite people. She was very accommodating, and worked with us every step of the way. We knew our date almost 2 years in advance, and when she told us that we could only book a year out and to call then(and we were basically "soft-booked"), we knew that we’d be taken care of. Because we were in an off season, we were allowed to go below the “normal minimums” for the venue (though our party was large enough it didn’t really matter). The food was out of this world; we had family from TX tell us how delicious the steaks tasted! Diane was there to help our wedding coordinator set up, and tear down, and was so excited for us. The staff at the Club was amazing as well, and catered to our family and friends without question. The Lodge was no different, and helped us set up a room block (because we ended up taking 95% of all the rooms with our guests!), and was exceedingly helpful with all our guests. The venue itself is gorgeous, and perfect for breath-taking wedding photos, and on clear days, you'll get the Academy in the background. The villas are perfect to have for the wedding party to get ready, because there are 2 bathrooms where people can get ready (to include the guys!), and the living room area was great to bring in breakfast and have the bridesmaids have their hair and makeup done by a mobile service. The rooms are stunningly beautiful. I could go on and on about how wonderful the entire staff was to our guests, and to us, and how easy the venue was for us to organize for our wedding. We had multiple out-of-town guests tell us they wanted to come back during golf season for a stay! I would 100% getting in contact with Ms. Diane at the Club if you are looking to host any sort of event here (not just a wedding reception), because you will not be disappointed!

SO AMAZIG!! I can't describe how amazing this venue was. The staff was so friendly, Diane was amazingly attentive and professional, and the venue was beautiful. People still talk about how awesome our wedding was, and I know it was largely due to our amazing venue and staff!

Worth every penny! Top Notch! Diane was ABSOLUTELY FANTASTIC!!! We planned our wedding from Texas and she made everything so easy! She accommodated all of our needs, the venue has the MOST beautiful view, and the night was perfect. I feel like Diane genuinely cared about our wedding and she understood our vision. The food was AMAZING and the drinks were PERFECT. I couldn't imagine having our wedding any other way. I am so grateful for all the hard work and patience Diane had with us!
