We decided to hire Mattrick as our videographer because everyone we spoke to mentioned the fact that they regretted not having a videographer at their wedding. So we started looking. Mattrick had the most competitive pricing and included all the services we were looking for. He was easy to communicate with and was very flexible with the things we needed, he even brought us a professional speaker (so that everyone could hear our vows during the ceremony), a microphone for us, and a wireless mic for our officiant. He filmed us using 4k cameras, and had a second videographer the day of our wedding to get different angles for our video. When we arrived back from our honeymoon Mattrick had our wedding montage AND our 1 hr long wedding video ready for us to view! We were so excited to relive that day again so soon after arriving home. Everything was beautiful. He captured all the moments that we missed, Being the bride that day I wasn't able to really take in everything, having the video I was able to really enjoy my wedding. He was there from setup until basically the end of the night, a bonus that I got were the wedding messages that he recorded at the end of the night! We received some beautiful messages that i had no idea even took place. Mattrick was a pleasure to work with and I would 100% recommend him.

Matchstix Studios is the premiere wedding film company for Southern California! Alot of my wife's family was unable to make it to california for the wedding. We had to fly back to Ohio for another reception. Michael worked day and night to get us our cut in time for the Ohio reception so we could show the video to all of the extended family. THEY LOVED IT. The family felt as if they were there even thought they were thousands of miles away. I Michael is amazing. He is attentive and cares about you and the story of the big day. Michael is always thinking a head to the edit and making sure that he has the coverage needed to tell your story. This isn't random shots from your day strung to music like many "wedding videographers" out there. This is a specialized video that is a narrative in telling the story of the bride and groom and the day or celebration. Michael is involved in the plans for your wedding so he can maximize his time and make sure he is in the right place at the right time. We never worried once whether Michael was the getting the shot. So many of our guests mentioned how they had forgotten a videographer was there and when seeing the final video were shocked that there were so many shots and angles. He is respectful of your time that day and of making sure you are the highlight of the day. Michael has state of the art equipment. This isn't just a DSLR on a stick, he has professional grade top of the line equipment to make sure the shots he pulls off speak of the quality he is known for. People were impressed when they saw our videographer's gear knowing that the final product was going to be a professional film. If you want someone who cares and who has the experience to pull anything off, then I highly recommend Matchstix Studios as your go to wedding videographer!!!!

Christian and his entire team were so incredible on our big wedding day - which was no easy feat. 2 ceremonies, 180+ guests, crazy parents and big families + a really wild reception, and his entire team took it all in stride and blended right in! Aside from Christian's incredible attentive nature from our initial call, we were initially referred to him from our wedding planner, Dee Lee (we told her we wanted a fun & engaging videographer team that was not your usual team - folks who would blend in and keep up our good vibes for the day). What a fit! Christian was so engaging and totally understood us when we told him our hopes for a fun, catchy wedding video - something outside of the typical videos. He balanced the cinematography with heartfelt emotions, great music selections and just the right amount of feelings (without being overly sappy). We and our families loved every minute of our highlights, our entire documentary - just all of it! These weren't just memories to relive these past few months after our wedded bliss, but for years to come - can't wait to look back and remember what a wild & fun day it was!
