Wedding Music Bands in San Diego

This is the third wedding I've booked with ROM for each of my children. If you want to host a wedding that guests will rave about for years to come, this is the band to book. The dance floor will be overflowing from the moment you enter the ballroom to the time the venue kicks you out. Every generation of guests will be rockin' it all night long. ROM is talented, high energy, and fun! Tiana will meet with the bride and groom early on to capture the vibe you want and then she'll work with your wedding planner to make it happen so that you can enjoy your special day worry free. Lights, fireworks, romance, props... whatever you want, they'll make it happen. We used them for beautiful live ceremony music (strings, harp etc) which made it classy and gorgeous. Then we had a trio (guitar, drum, keyboard) for the cocktail hour creating an ambiance where people could talk with lovely music in the background. Then it was on to the ballroom where the full rockstar band put on the best dance party ever! You will love working with the ROM Rockstars, especially Tiana who brings it all together with her fabulous voice and her exceptional warmth as your evening emcee. She sticks to the timeline so that every detail of the wedding party entry, to the first dance, father/daughter dance, mother/son dance and multiple dance sets for all the guests flows perfectly. We also booked their DJ (3 times) for our wedding welcome party and DJ Simple kicked off the wedding weekend. No one thought it could get any better... until they got to the wedding and experienced the entire ROM live experience. AMAZING...

We booked Gary Rich and The Blue Daddy’s Wedding Band for our wedding, September 20, 2025. They played for both our ceremony and reception and they were absolutely amazing!!!! All of our guests are still telling us how much they enjoyed the wedding because of the fabulous band! They were great to work with, very friendly and professional! I definitely recommend them!!!

Jukebox was one of the best decisions we made for our wedding! David was incredible to work with leading up to wedding day. We felt more than confident and knew that he had everything handled. The emcee work was too notch and the energy the band exuded was instrumental in keeping the night poppin’. Not to mention, they are so freaking talented. We received so many compliments throughout the night and in the weeks following our wedding. The transitions between live band and DJ were seamless and there was never a dull moment on the dance floor. They knew I had an epic bachelorette experience singing with Carrie Underwood and they even pulled me up on stage toward the end of the night to sing it again! David and his team are amazingly professional, so much fun, and beyond talented. Worth every penny! Using Jukebox gave us the live band we wanted while still having the DJ aspect as well and we are thrilled with our experience!

We used Breez'n for our Vintage Wings & Wheels Fall Festival 2016 and they were fantastic!!! Their song selection was on point for our event, they set up and were on auto pilot for the whole event. They were very interactive with the crowd and all the participants really enjoyed the music. We are planning to have this event next year and are definitely going to call Breez'n again!!! I am so glad that we had Ke'Ahi play at our wedding! He was fantastic and so kind and professional through the whole process. He is able to play anything you want and was open to all of our ideas. We played for our reception and cocktail hour and I wish I could have listened to him more. His style was perfect for our venue and helped with the laid back vibe we wanted.

The Shades of Blue Band TOTALY made our daughter's wedding reception. They are so unbelievably talented and professional. They had our guests of all ages out on that dance floor. No one wanted to leave the dance floor (we had a lot of sweaty but happy people out there). Besides being ultra talented, they are so full of energy and dress the part. I literally was sore in areas of my body that I didn't know could be sore from so much dancing for several days later - ha ha! You will not be disappointed if you go with this band! We really did our research before hiring a band too and were thrilled with the result. Matt who helped us with the booking was SO easy to work with as well. Check out their website which is so professional and informative too. Don't hesitate! Book this band! So much more fun than a DJ (no offense to DJs). We had 2 female and one male vocalists in addition to the talented musicians for a total of 7 on stage. The band is not an area you want to skimp on. Our guests are still raving about the band!

Kurt and Dirty Bird took our wedding to the next level; every single request we made was executed perfectly and they didn’t miss a beat (or cue). We had extensive song cues and requests and they hit every single one. Our guests never left the dance floor thanks to their party vibe and they even let me and my (now) husband perform a song with them for our first dance. It was AWESOME all around and Kurt was an absolutely fantastic MC. I cannot recommend them enough!

Every single person- ranging from teenage to 90 were on their feet and dancing at my wedding. In fact, the band was so incredible people had to try to stay off the dance floor while I finished wedding portraits. Bernie is such a professional and lead a talented group of musicians. They put their whole heart into the performance at my wedding and were so wonderful with all my last minute requests and changes. My dad is HUGE into music, followed bands around country and played in them as well, so his seal of approval means a lot. Their range of music is perfect, a little something for everyone. They know how to not only get the crowd out of their seats, but keep them dancing for hours. Thank you, Fabulous Ultratones. You made my wedding night a total success. We even asked them to stay for an extra 30 minutes because no one wanted the fun to end.

This group is amazing!! My family surprised us and booked the band for our rehearsal/pre-wedding party at 32 North Brewery. The group entered the venue playing and it was such a surprise. All of the band members are incredibly talented. They played all the classics and had everyone on the dance floor. And, my family hired them from out of town, so I believe they were really responsive and professional. We’ve already recommended them to other friends for their wedding and heard they loved them as well. If you’re thinking about hiring a mariachi band, definitely go with Mariachi Nuevo!
