Yuri's photography skills are underrated in the Boston wedding world. His photos are unique, with beautiful framing and thoughtful touches. We didn't want very traditional photos, but instead wanted someone to capture candid moments from our wedding day. Yuri took the time to understand our needs and absolutely delivered. He also offered us a free photobooth which was a huge hit with guests. I would highly recommend working with Yuri.

Yuri was just the best. He has a wonderful eye for photography. He is not the bossy kind of photographer who will bark orders at you and you wedding party, but more of the kind that will capture genuine in-the-moment photos. We were very happy with our wedding photos and there were a ton to choose from! He drove about 3 hours (one way) to get to my wedding and home and he never complained about it for 1 second. uri surely delivered during the wedding planning and wedding night! He was very responsive and professional with the wedding planning process; he was definitely a pleasure to work with. Most importantly, he rocked on our wedding night. Yuri's laid back personality and calming presence was a pleasure to have during this time. He blended in so well with the crowd and was discreet while still capturing every moment; he did not miss a beat. I can't forget to mention the pictures... Yuri created a natural/ airy/ romantic vibe. My husband and I especially appreciated that it was not all about posing for the picture but capturing moments as they go. We are so happy with our decision to have Yuri be a part of the wedding. He was truly a one man show and wouldn't have it any other way.

From the moment we first contacted Yuri, we were impressed with how prompt and professional he was in his communications, which made planning and coordinating a breeze. I was drawn to Yuri's photography by the way he used natural light and captured candid moments. He was quiet and focused when working, and always friendly. Yuri made us feel safe to just have fun and be in the moment, which came across in the photos. We were blown away by our engagement shoot photos and wedding photos, and all of the beautiful moments he captured. Our guests have highly praised his photos as well. His photography has truly been a gift and worth every cent as it has captured so many happy memories that we can keep forever.

Yuri is amazing! Due to our budget, we decided not to get a 2nd shooter but it didn't matter. Yuri captured the entire day by himself! We received over 700 pictures that told the story of our wedding day perfectly, from start to finish! With absolutely breathtaking candid shots that I am so proud to display in my home. We did not want a bunch of the traditional "staring at the camera" types of photos and he is perfect for that. And the selfie station that came with the package we chose was a huge hit with our guests! I will forever recommend Yuri Kriventsoff for wedding photography.

Yuri photographed our wedding in August 2018. He was great to work with from the very beginning! The photos came out absolutely beautiful. If you don't like to be overly posed, he is definitely the right photographer for you. He is a master at capturing perfect, candid moments. Somehow, you barely notice him taking photos at the wedding (he is NOT one of those photographers that stands in front of all of the guests at the ceremony!). We got so many compliments from our friends and family about how beautiful our photos were. Cannot recommend him enough!

Yuri is an amazing photographer and was an absolute pleasure to work with. After seeing his work from my sister’s wedding, my wife and I knew we had to have him as our wedding photographer.

From the beginning, working with Yuri is a great experience; shortly after submitting a quote request, Yuri emailed us and set up a Skype call to go through any questions and concerns for the engagement session as well as for the big day, and he remained in contact as both dates drew close.

The engagement session was fun, and is something we both recommend. It gave us an opportunity to get comfortable with Yuri and how he works, which was invaluable on the wedding day.

On the day of the wedding, Yuri was a pleasure to work with. Both my wife and I have relatively large extended families, but we managed to get through all the must-have family photos in the limited time we had prior to the ceremony as well as the wedding party photos afterwards. Outside of the must-have, posed photos, Yuri was out-of-sight and out-of-mind, capturing beautiful photos of the venue and décor and candid photos that our friends and family raved about.

For the wedding, we also opted for the Simple Booth with Yuri, which is another option we highly recommend. All our guests absolutely loved using the photobooth—the photos aren’t just stills, but are (very) short GIFs—and we loved the simplicity of the booth, since it was easy to access and didn’t take a lot of space on the dance floor.

Overall, his work captures the beauty and emotions of each moment. If you are on the lookout for a professional engagement and/or wedding photographer who can take beautiful, candid photos, we 100% recommend him!

Yuri was great! He photographed our engagement pictures and wedding photos. The photos were very unique and accurately captured the spirit of our day. I had some ideas of specific portraits from Pinterest and he had them ready to go to make sure he got some! We even had the blessing of a surprise second shooter! Overall, we were very pleased with all of our photos, and that Yuri was able to tailor a package to our needs.

Yuri is the best! Working with him was such a pleasure; he was very responsive and professional and best of all, our engagement and wedding photos were ABSOLUTELY STUNNING. We were so lucky to come across him! I will absolutely use him again for any of our other picture needs (baby photos one day!). His prices are also very reasonable (I would say below average in Boston area) so that’s another great thing about him. Overall, I absolutely recommend him to all future brides! He is the best!

Yuri delivered a spectacular engagement photoshoot experience from start to finish. He was flexible about scheduling around my finace's changing work schedule and a thunderstorm that ruined our initial scheduled date, and he brought along an assistant who was also charming and a big help. It was -7 degrees on the morning of our shoot, but every picture Yuri took of us looked radiant and beautiful and not at all like we were freezing to death. He took some killer artistic shots (like, he made our ugly apartment front door look stylish!), and I was so impressed with how unposed and natural all of our photos look - he really captured the beauty of our relationship without any of that cheesy "prom pose" vibe. Get ready to kiss your fiance a lot! :)
