Yummy Pies is an alternative wedding cake supplier based in Cedar Park, Texas, specializing in handmade miniature pies. Each pie is three inches in diameter and baked fresh to order in various flavors and fillings. Owner Mario Barrera is a culinary graduate of The Art Institute of Austin. He endeavors to give couples a taste of home by making traditional wedding cakes with a rustic twist.
Services Offered
The Yummy Pies menu is a delicious selection of 11 different pies from which couples can select the ideal type for their special day. Led by Mario, we make all their pie crusts from scratch with options for sweet and savory fillings. All you have to do is choose your favorite flavors and toppings, and then contact us to schedule a private tasting at our kitchen. This is a great opportunity for you to sample our pies to get a sense of our baked goods' style, quality, and presentation. Once you have selected, we will take care of the rest. We look after the preparation, delivery, and presentation of your delicious pies at your wedding. We can display the pies to match your reception's theme or according to your specific preferences. If you would like a pie that is not on the menu, Mario is open to accommodating special requests.

My name is Mario and I'm originally from the southern part of Texas. My parents had the biggest influence on me growing up and food was definitely at the center of it all. As a child, I spent a lot of time helping my parents in the kitchen or outside barbecuing in the backyard, learning how to cook and family recipes. As the years passed, my passion for food grew stronger and I wanted to learn as much as possible about cooking, therefore, I got a culinary arts degree from The Art Institute of Austin. I have been cooking for the last twenty-one years and it's been a great experience, so I finally decided to start my own business and established Yummy Pies back in April of 2022. As an entrepreneur, my hope is to become a well-known and trusted bakery in Austin, TX.
