My husband and I found this place sort of by chance, and we ended up really loving it! Our ideal place was to be indoors (for our March wedding), have a view of a lake, have the ceremony and reception in the same location, and to have lodging available on site, and the Trout Lodge was EXACTLY all of those things! We reserved the meeting rooms on the 2nd floor of the main Trout Lodge (from Friday afternoon through Sunday morning), and we had our rehearsal dinner, ceremony, and reception all in those rooms. The view was beautiful, the kitchen was great about tailoring the food for us, the staff were wonderful about flipping the room. Andrea was our point person, and she was very helpful. The Trout Lodge does not supply alcohol, but they let you bring it in, so we got the nearby golf course (Fourche Valley) to bring a keg and bartend the event, and the Edg-Clif winery to supply the wine. Quiet hours begin at 10pm, so we had a 3pm ceremony, 4pm cocktail hour, and 5pm dinner so that things quieted down by 10pm. We were still allowed to hang out and play board games in the meeting rooms past 10pm though. All in all, the was a wonderful venue, and we would highly recommend it!
