This was a great place to have our wedding! The rose gardens were a beautiful place to conduct a ceremony and take pictures.

Not a single complaint. Yaddo is beautiful and perfect. My ceremony was lovely. Just a reminder, it is a public place. Immediately after the ceremony, a photographer ( not mine) started taking photos of a woman in a bikini. I was still in my recieving line wnen I looked over an saw the bikini clad woman in the spot I was just married in 5 minutes before. The male guests didnt seem to mind though.

The rose gardens at Yaddo are the perfect spot to have your wedding ceremony if you really love the outdoors and are looking for a Victorian feel.

The downsides to Yaddo are that you cannot have your reception there, you cannot reserve your wedding date for the following year until the November before your date, you may be limited to how many chairs you can have for seating, and parking is limited.

But, if you are creative, the Yaddo gardens can be the perfect outdoor wedding ceremony location.

My wife and I were very pleased with the location. See their website at www.yaddo.org .

The Yaddo Gardens was beautiful at the time of the ceremony. Basically you give a tax deductible donation of $250 and get the Garden for 3 hours. Nothing else is included with it. You have to get your own J.O.P or Priest and you can not have your reception there. We brought a cd player for the music. But again the Garden was absolutely beautiful with all the roses at the time and the family loved it.
