We were planning our wedding in Louisville while living in Los Angeles and had made several appointments to visit venues during a short trip. We made the mistake of forgetting to adjust the time zone for the appointments and ended up missing most all of our venue tours. Woodhaven was so very gracious and understanding of this mistake and accommodated us on the spot and gave us their full attention and time, even though we had missed our scheduled appointment with them. This really built rapport from the beginning, but they continued to give us this level of attention and service throughout the six months of planning. Carrie was very accommodating and met with us virtually and when we finally met in person she had fully prepared the venue to let us envision all the options for floor planning, decorations, and other small touches to make our wedding exactly how we wanted it. She was very good at communicating throughout the planning, and served as our day of coordinator to help everything run smoothly and exactly how we had discussed it. The venue is absolutely beautiful and we felt like we didn’t need to decorate extensively because all of the details in the venue made it look so elegant and stunning on its own. We were able to plan our menu and taste the food options, which were all very delicious! I honestly never expect to be impressed with wedding food, but the food served at my wedding was exceptional and cooked perfectly. The venue is very spacious and has a very beautiful and large bar. We loved everything about our experience with Woodhaven and would definitely recommend it for anyone looking to have an upscale experience at an affordable price!

The absolute best wedding venue of all time! It is beautiful inside, the team cares so much and overall it was the best day ever. Carrie who helped me every step of the way was such an amazing addition to my team. She is so good at her job. She listened to my wishes and did everything she could to accommodate all things. The food was delicious and I am still getting compliments on it. I will always recommend this venue for any need you may have!

I met with Meredith last November and a few other time here and there and she is always willing to answer any questions I have had. I can't wait to have our ceremony and reception at woodhaven!

We LOVE this place! Meredith was so accommodating and patient through the entire process and made our dreams come to life. The food and drink were awesome as usual and the party was rockin! Our final price included the venue rental, catering, bar, servers, gratuity, tables, chairs, tablecloths, napkins, some decorations...very inclusive, one stop shop!

This place is absolutely amazing! On our tour, Haley let us know everything we needed to know. I had a list of questions in my book and she answered all of my questions before I could ask. I can not speak highly enough of our wedding experience at Woodhaven Country Club. We were married at a nearby catholic church and had our reception at WCC. We worked with Lisa from the time we booked through after the wedding, which was nice having one person working with you through the whole process. They were extremely flexible and easy to work with. They worked great with all our vendors who needed access to the site at different times of the day. Lisa answered all email and phone calls within a day or so, always professionally.
It is an absolutely beautiful venue for any event. The only decorations you need to bring are table centerpieces; they provide decorations for the bar and food tables. You have to use their catering service with the venue, but for the price and quality of the food, it is beyond worth it! I have had so many people say that it was the best wedding food they have ever had, hands down.
We had about 325-350 guests at our reception and everyone fit comfortably, dance floor and all.

Honestly can not recommend this venue more!!
