Owl Creek Country Club

Owl Creek Country Club is so much more than a wedding venue. It is a place that feels like home. A year ago, I was newly engaged and beginning the exciting, overwhelming process of planning our wedding. I had no idea where we would celebrate the beginning of our marriage. I knew I had found our ceremony location in the iconic, stunning, and quaint Duncan Memorial Chapel, but I struggled to imagine how we could follow such a special place with just any reception venue.

Enter Owl Creek.

We were naturally drawn to explore Owl Creek because of its location, but it was the quiet beauty of Anchorage, the stunning landscape, and the welcoming atmosphere that made us fall in love. And we truly fell in love with everything about Owl Creek—not just the beautiful venue and incredible food, but, most importantly, the people.

Katre, Todd, Jeff, and Mackenzie made what could have been a transactional wedding-planning experience feel personal, meaningful, and genuinely special. Over the course of our time at Owl Creek, they became so much more than the people helping us plan our wedding. They became friends. Their kindness, care, and attention to detail made us feel like we were celebrating with people who truly cared about us and the memories we were creating.

We loved Owl Creek so much that we couldn’t stop talking about it. In fact, both my father and my husband’s father decided to become members after hearing us rave about the location, the food, and the people. That says everything about the kind of place Owl Creek is: somewhere you want to return to, long after the wedding is over.

On our wedding day, I never felt like we were hosting an event at a venue. I felt like we had invited our closest family and friends into a place that was already home to us, where everyone could gather around a beautiful table, share an incredible meal, laugh, celebrate, and make memories together. It felt like a home-cooked family dinner in the most beautiful setting imaginable. No strangers, no surprises—just wonderful people, exceptional food, and the people we love most in the world.

Owl Creek gave us more than a beautiful reception. It gave us the perfect setting and the warmest atmosphere to begin this next chapter of our lives together. The experience was everything we hoped for and so much more.

My husband and I just got married here two weeks ago and we can’t reccomend Owl creek enough! The event coordinator Mackenzie did an amazing job at ensuring our day went smoothly, she was there to help with rehearsal, she helped set up all my decor, stayed in contact with our vendors, helped with my day of timeline, ect. Idk how I would have done it without her! The rest of the staff at owl creek also did an excellent job with servicing the bridal party through the day and to our guests, I appreciate them all so much. The day went absolutely perfect and I highly reccomend checking out owl creek for your wedding.

Mackenzie and her team were top notch! She was very responsive and timely in answering my questions. She went out of her way to personally help with even the smallest tasks, which was so appreciated during such a busy time. Everyone on staff was polite and professional and if they didn't have the answer to my questions they would find someone who did. I highly recommend Owl Creek for any type of event!

My son's wedding was absolutely perfect from the planning to execution at Owl Creek. Venue is lovely, staff very attentive, price affordable. Perfect!

This place was amazing, beautiful and worth every penny. Mackenzie was so helpful and suggestive. The staff very attentive and nice. The food was good, but average with the hype of the gourmet chef we felt. Probably since we decided on the buffet and should have gotten the plated option with the size of our wedding. We had lunch there and it was delicious but the buffet felt less comparable. The drinks and service amazing. They even cut the cake. . The grounds beautiful and the bridal room to get ready in was very comfortable. The gentlemen loved the Bourbon Room (waiting room). I highly recommend them and get the Ballroom or all three rooms you will not be disappointed.

Mackenzie Cook at the venue made it our day run flawlessly! This venue is stunning and their hospitality to the guests stands out. They made planning so stress-free, and coordinated everything we needed on the day of. Would HIGHLY recommend!

The team at owl creek made it super easy to host a classy bridal shower overlooking the green. The food was really yummy and the chef can tweak menus to give you exactly what you’re needing! The support staff there on the day of the event was fantastic…they take as much work out of setting up as you’ll let them! Definitely recommend!

We had our wedding reception at Owl Creek Country Club and it turned out amazingly well. The venue was the perfect amount of space for the 90 guests at the reception. We booked all three rooms (The Bar, Ballroom, and Sunroom). The space was decorated beautifully (newly renovated), the service was top notch, and the food was great. We received high praise from guests who ate the short rib!
Mackenzie was amazing to work alongside and answered any and all questions promptly! We definitely recommend hosting your reception or party at Owl Creek Country Club!
