I absolutely loved my wedding flowers and my bouquet and I could have not think of going with anyone else.
I appreciated Emily willingness to work with me and she immediately understood my vision. I was even able to meet with her in person in her studio.
From the initial consultation to the day of the wedding, she was always available to answer any questions and address any concerns that I had. Her and her team professionalism and expertise really shone through, and it was evident that they were committed to making sure that everything was perfect for my big day. My flowers were wonderful, nothing looked cheap and she even used ceramic bowls for the centerpieces from a Milwaukee artist. I really appreciated as well that most of my flowers came from her farm. Every little details were well-thought.

Emily was honest and willing to work with our budget and understanding of the hardships that the pandemic caused, even as a business owner herself. Cant recommend her high enough!

Working with Emily to plan the florals for my wedding day was SUCH an enjoyable experience! Emily is knowledgeable, experienced, and so professional! I came into my first meeting with Emily with a very specific vision in mind, but worried that since I lacked much floral knowledge, that she would have difficulty understanding what I was looking for. But throughout our meetings it become very clear to me that she saw my vision even more clearly than I did! On our wedding day, the florals were everything I could've dreamed of and more. We got so many compliments from all of our guests. I would recommend her to any bride in a heartbeat!

Working in the wedding industry for the last ten years and owning my own event company meant I knew exactly what I wanted in a florist. Emily is a local powerhouse, boss babe who created a business quite literally from the ground up. Wood Violet is eco-friendly and their preferred medium is locally grown flowers and foliage with a loose, natural, garden-y, a little messy, lush and bountiful style. Um, we were was SOLD. Their website boasts they are not fans of rules or convention and that's exactly the aesthetic we were looking for.

Our planning meetings with Emily were a blast. She understood our dark, slightly gothic/rock & roll, boho style from the jump and ran with it. She sourced beautiful black velvet for our bouquets. She found unique vessels for the mixed foliage and plants around the venue. She custom built an incredible copper pipe piece that floated above our head table, dripped in insanely beautiful greenery. WHATTTTTT.

The bouquets were out of this world. Emily and her team went above and beyond for us. Way beyond. We had a flip from the ceremony to the reception and the Wood Violet team literally made it all happen. They came back at the end of the night to collect rentals so we didn't have to worry about any of it. Seriously, guys, I provided probably the most laid-back, "meh whatever you want to do" direction to Emily and I got magic. MAGIC, I TELL YOU.

Emily was amazing! We were a little nervous going with someone who doesn't know up front what flowers will be in season and available for our wedding date, but she more than delivered. We loved the flowers that she picked to fit within our color scheme. We came in with minimal ideas and she helped us bring our vision to life. She even worked with our family to add personal touches to the bridal bouquet. We loved working with her and her laid back personality. She was a very calming presence for last few stressful months of wedding planning. We would highly recommend Wood Violet!

Choosing Emily and Wood Violet for our wedding was by far one of the best decisions we could have made for our special day! Our planning meetings were so fun and relaxed and Emily was always very responsive if we ever had questions or updates before our wedding. Our bouquets, corsages, boutonnieres, centerpieces, and all decorations provided by Wood Violet were absolutely gorgeous. They were natural and rustic, but also so elegant and polished. Emily also provided our chuppah and unique lighting and flowers to make it look so beautiful and special. Emily was absolutely fantastic to work with. We really liked the idea of locally-grown flowers and so contacted Emily to set up a meeting. She was very accommodating with our work schedules and meet with us one evening going over our general ideas as well as learning more about us. She also provided us with vases, pedestals, and table numbers and had many options for us to choose from. Emily seemed to "get" us and our vision right off the bat - we had our ceremony and reception at the Milwaukee Art Museum, and wanted simple bursts of fall color. On the day of, we were not disappointed. The bridesmaids' bouquets, which were repurposed as centerpieces for the head table, were beautiful and my bouquet was exactly what I wanted. The ceremony flowers were just as beautiful. Further, Emily was able to stick within our budget and create a masterpiece all while being SO responsive and communicative. I never had to worry about not hearing back when I had questions. Overall, her professionalism and her artistry truly helped to make our wedding beautiful.
