WithinSodo is a beautifully renovated warehouse in the SoDo district of Seattle with 5 event spaces: the Lobby, the Gallery, the Lounge, the Ballroom & the Rooftop Deck. These 5 spaces when combined include an incredible partially-covered rooftop deck with a spectacular view of the downtown Seattle skyline, a full catering kitchen, an A/V System, 16-foot screen, 3+ full bar areas, 5 restrooms, two simple dressing suites, Wi-Fi, & ample free parking.
WithinSodo offers an accessible rental with by-the-room options, with fees based on the season and day of the week. Rates vary from $500 to $1500 per room for up to 10 hours of access. Rooms must be rented in combination with other adjoining rooms for access. Applicable Washington state taxes, cleaning fees based on how many rooms you rent, and a refundable damage deposit are additional.
During the summer season (June-September), per-room rentals range from $900 to $1500. The total rental cost is often between $4500-$8000 on Saturdays and $3000-$6000 on Friday & Sunday dates. In the off-season (October-May), per-room rates range from $500 to $1000, and total rental costs are between $2000-$6000. Whether you choose to rent just one room or all five at once, the total cost will depend on the specific rooms and the day of the week. Please note that the prices provided are for up to 10 hours of access. We do require you to meet with our team (onsite or virtual) before holding any dates or sending contracts.
An in-house full-service bar package is required for most dates. We take care of all the permits, staffing, glassware, mixers, garnishes, ice, etc. There are multiple options for bar locations throughout the building, each of which could open/close at different times.
Our minimum purchase request is very approachable and we offer a personalized bar consultation to ensure you have everything you want to offer! While we exclusively provide alcohol and all bar services, there are no restrictions on any other vendors as long as they are properly licensed and insured.

The coolest summer venue!
We had our ceremony & cocktail hour on the roof, food and a live band in the main room, and an on-site after-party back on the roof. This helped break-up the event and keep things fresh, without guests having to drive between locations; a guest said it was like “3 parties in one”, which would be hard to replicate at another venue. Going back on the “Monkey Loft” roof and enjoying the summer breeze and the city lights was a great way to end our wedding, and a time where we were able to have pure fun after a hectic day.
Kate was so nice and kind, and generous with her time. We were able to book venue access multiple times prior to the event, to walk-through with vendors, and Kate helped us there each time.
Some hopefully helpful notes:
We were very happy to have hired a lighting vendor (Crimzon Haze), which helped the main floor feel lively.
We went with a mobile pizza oven buffet (Veraci) instead of catering, and guests loved it, while also simplifying some of our catering needs.
Setting up the bar and the desserts in the mirror room added fun and flair.
The venue does not have an elevator to the rooftop, which doesn’t make it accessible to guests with limited mobility.
We mostly took care of our own sound needs. If you don’t hire sound professionals, I would recommend doing a sound-check before the event to make sure everything is working as expected.
Overall, we were very happy with our experience, and WithinSodo was a great venue with great staff for a flexible, “build-it-yourself” wedding. They have a TON of experienced vendor recommendations and plenty of tips and support along the way. Many of our guests said it was such a cool venue!

We've had the pleasure of hosting several events at WithinSodo, and I cannot speak highly enough of the experience. The space itself is unique and cool, perfectly capturing the vibrant spirit of the Sodo district of Seattle with a rooftop capturing the skyline.
Working with Kate, the venue manager, and Sabrina, the venue coordinator, was an absolute delight. Their attentiveness and professionalism ensured that everything went smoothly from start to finish. The dedication and the seamless coordination with Sabrina made our events truly memorable. We have nothing but kind words to say about WithinSodo and their team, and we look forward to working with them again in the future.

The perfect venue.
The venue itself is so unique with all of the rooms; you honestly barely need any decor if you want that industrial look. The rooftop, lounge, and mirror rooms are a dream.
Kate was so amazing with her communication, working with us, and even helping out so much on the day of (we had let go of our day of coordinator so this helped so much). Kate even gave us some glasses of champagne to help ease our minds.
Thank you to Kate for creating such a memorable day! We are planning on holding a reception there once things are safe!

I loved shooting at this venue. The rooftop area is great for a small ceremony and makes for nice photos. The location is awesome and allows for the bride and groom to take off for a bit to get some photos in Pioneer Square. I'm looking forward to getting back over there sometime soon!
