I worked with Shirley and let me first start by saying she is amazing! If she can make something happen for you she will do it! She truly guided me, gave me advice on anything/everything I asked for! She is truly a doer/fixer and her positive attitude made things so much easier/stress free. I didn’t meet the staff beyond the front desk until the day of my wedding and let me just say that positivity Shirley has extended through her entire staff!! Every single person! Best way to put it throughout the entire staff there are no problems only solutions. I had complements from my guests how nice and helpful everyone at the Wintergreen is! Every detail went off without a hitch. I am so grateful for all the hard work and positivity!! I truly could not have dreamed of a better place to have had my wedding ceremony and reception at!

The Wintergreen Resort ended up being a wonderful location for our wedding. It was elegant, the food was excellent, and Shirley offered suggestions that really added to our special day. I was impressed by the value, the bridal suite was conveniently located, and we also got to have a complimentary gift opening room the following day.

The staff were incredible to work with and flexible to make sure the event was enjoyable for us and our guests! The guests highly commented the food and staff. They always were providing great suggestions and they are very reasonably priced compared to other venues in the area as they don't nickel and dime you for every little thing. If you want a great experience and reduce your stress in the planning process- I would recommend the Wintergreen as they will take care of you!

We could not have picked a better place for our wedding reception! Shirley made everything so simple, especially planning from a distance. Everything was gorgeous and set up exactly as I requested. They even went above and beyond by making us a tiered rice-crispie cake (which wasn't in my original requests). I received so many compliments from our guests about the space, the food, and the staff! It really was wonderful!!
