White's Wildwood Retreat is the perfect place to get married!
White's Wildwood Retreat is beautiful and wonderful!! Betty and Dean White are so great to work with, and they make sure your time there is perfect! The whole venue is fantastic, with the lodges for you and your guest to stay, the outdoor ceremony site is beautiful with the bridge, and the pavilion is a perfect for dinner and dancing! Our wedding was absolutely perfect at White's Wildwood Retreat!Sent on 06/04/2019

Betty White at White's Wildwood Retreat was absolutely amazing! She was super friendly and easy to work with. During the weekend of our wedding (Friday-Sunday) we had rented both the cabin and the pavilion. She came over Friday, Saturday, and Sunday when we had tried to contact her about various questions that we had about the venue. She was always right there to help, and the cabin and pavilion were clean, plenty big for well over 200 guests, and we were able to make the venue look exactly how we wanted on our special day. Also, Betty had just installed a new sound system in the pavilion as well as brand new bathrooms that include a bridal suite! I would recommend White's Wildwood Retreat to anyone who would enjoy an outdoor wedding, large family gathering, graduation, or any other event in need of a pavilion/place to stay.Sent on 08/07/2016

We received many compliments on how beautiful the location was. My husband and I were VERY disappointed with the way the owners handled various situations, however. They promised us finished construction of bathrooms close to the reception site and confirmed their timely completion when we checked-in with them several times. We were there a week before the wedding and it was very clear that they weren't going to be finished on time. When my husband asked the owner about this, she brushed it off as if she didn't really care, and told him that there were porta johns close by. We had absolutely no intention of choosing a venue in which porta johns would be present, or even necessary. We felt it took away from the elegance we were trying to achieve at this already rustic venue. The owners did not extend any kind of discount, or offer anything to make up for this. We even booked an extra nights stay there, and never even received an apology for the fact that they wouldn't be finished. A bathroom under construction was on the background of our reception site, and our guests had to walk about 50-100 yards to a cabin (not well-lit at night) to use the bathroom. Because of the way they handled this situation, I would NOT recommend this venue to someone else. There are more professional vendors elsewhere in the area with a similar venue style.Sent on 06/12/2016
