Historic Wedding Venues in Green Bay

We had the most magical weekend at this venue! From the moment we arrived, everything exceeded our expectations. The camp is set in a truly beautiful location — peaceful, scenic, and full of natural charm. Every building on the grounds is so thoughtfully designed and beautifully decorated that it honestly doesn’t need any additional décor; it already feels picture-perfect from start to finish. A huge thank-you to Laura, the camp director, who was absolutely wonderful to work with. She answered our menu many questions. Our group had such an incredible time — the combination of the stunning setting, cozy accommodations, and welcoming atmosphere made it an unforgettable weekend. We can’t recommend this venue highly enough!

I could not have asked for a better place to get married. The venue alone is gorgeous and the amount of space you get is amazing! Diana was amazing to work with and went above and beyond. We are very happy with how everything turned out!

As soon as we saw The Waters we knew this was where we wanted to have our Wedding Reception; it aligned perfectly with our "wish list"...on the water; a large enough capacity; historic, classy, and well-maintained building, etc. Lindsey and Kate were a pleasure, always very responsive to our questions and providing explanations in detail. Our wedding was originally scheduled for June 2020, due to the pandemic, we decided to postpone until August 2021; Lindsey and Kate were extremely accommodating in allowing us to "first pick" a rescheduled date and transferring the contract terms, etc. The Waters has a list of preferred vendors which made selecting a caterer and florist easier. When one of the other vendors I reached out to was unresponsive, Lindsey recommended a much better alternative - it took our reception to another level! The Waters is so fortunate to have Lindsey at the helm, she is all you could hope for in an Event Manager. The day itself was lovely and our guests enjoy every aspect of the grounds and building - lawn games, strolls along the lake, fun times at the bar (great drinks, too!), gorgeous views from the balconies and patios, an elegant plated dinner, a beautiful sunset, and dancing until the last. I highly recommend The Waters in every way!

Kelli was absolutely amazing to work with to plan our special day! She thinks of everything you may need and made sure to touch base with us every step of the way! For having to postpone our wedding, she was so patient and understanding and helpful throughout the whole process! We couldn’t have asked for a more inviting or beautiful space to have our reception! The Court Above Main is so unique in its history. It was the perfect space for us and gave so much character to our wedding. The days leading up to our wedding, Kelli was super helpful and made everything look so beautiful in the space! I couldn’t have done a better job myself. Plenty of space for dancing or just to hang out and chat. The whole night went by smoothly and Kelli helped keep things moving along! The bar tending staff was also super friendly and endured making over 100 old fashions. They were rockstars and couldn’t have asked for a better place to jumpstart our love story. 📸 Janimal Photography
