Hands down AMAZING!

Had Our Daughter's Debut (18th Birthday) @ the White House Event Center this past weekend and everything was on point and amazing! We had a guest count of 300 and couldn't have chosen a better venue than the White House! We received the best feedback from a handful of our guests! Every item on our food menu was delicious and delicious is actually an understatement! Our point of contact @ the venue, Omar was such a very patient, kind person to work & his attentiveness to any questions was always on point! He made sure to remind us of certain things and also suggest other things! Yanely was the manager on duty the night of our event and she was great with checking in and being on timeline! Alex was another person who we had to have a few conversations with regarding our event this past year and she as well was nice and pleasure to always speak with! The staff members we encountered were all very nice and communicative, which was a big deal for us! Definitely recommend this venue! You cannot go wrong by choosing the White House Event Center as your venue! Beyond pleased, happy and blessed!

Best Venue Ever!!!

The Whitehouse Banquets & Event Center is hands down the best!!!! It just doesn’t get better than Omar and his team when it comes event productions. My sister and her fiance had both their Nigerian and Christian weddings at this venue. From beginning to end everything was such a beautiful and enchanting experience ❤️❤️❤️!!! I highly recommend using their in-house coordination services, they know how to bring your vision to life and have the patience to work with any bridezilla lol. The layout of the space is sooo lovely and photographs well in wedding photos!!! They have packages to accommodate all your needs and wants. I also really loved the bride and groom dressing rooms, it gave my sister and her husband breathing space. Now, the dance floor is totally a vibe and hwas well used!!! It was cool how it lights up and gasses up during the first dance of the newlyweds. Overall it is a 10/10 and you are guaranteed a great wedding!!!!

Amazing venue!

Stunning venue wonderful experience

We had our wedding here on 11/11 and we’re still on cloud nine about our big day at this stunning venue. Omar made the whole process easy and was always available when we had questions. Everything couldn’t have gone smoother without him. Omar helped us stay on schedule and made sure we were taken care of. For the day of we added the coordinator and DJ services. It was so worth it! So many of my guests loved the DJ and we danced all night. The food was also very delicious! There was so much space in the three different areas and everything was so beautiful that not too much additional decorations was necessary. We could go on and on but we’ll just say we’re glad we chose the White House to have our wedding.

Great Venue and Team!

We can not rave enough about the White House. First and foremost, their venue is beautiful and all encompassing. They had a large space for the bride and groom and their wedding parties to get ready in, they have a beautiful indoor and outdoor ceremony space, as well as a cocktail hour space. The reception area is large and naturally very beautifully decorated (i.e. draped, marble floors). The team was always very responsive via email, calls and even texts. Our package came with a day-of coordinator. Omar was so great! He was on top of every single detail. We received several compliments from our guests at how organized and on time our schedule was and that is a real testament to all his hard work and dedication on the day! A tip for all couples in the last days of wedding prep - communicate everything to your coordinator. They are so incredibly helpful with all the details. He was even kind enough to focus on getting us fed and making sure we were enjoying the evening. Such a gem and so thankful he was running the show!

WHEC - thank you!

White House Banquet & Events Center is a wonderful one-stop shop for couples who want a super convenient and hidden gem for their wedding venue. The entire process was very easy and painless. My husband and I wanted somewhere that would help us but also be easygoing. We communicated the most with Mimi, Omar, and Katia and Jovan. We got the Diamond package and Katia was our day of coordinator. Everyone was very easy to get ahold of and they answered all of questions. THANK YOU ALL SO MUCH! Bless them because we had a lot of questions since we did not have a wedding planner. We also got the early bird package which made everything so easy because we just got ready there and stayed there all day. Vanessa helped us the morning of and checked on us to see if we needed anything. Thank you Vanessa! They provide the menu, linens, tables, DJ, photobooth... they have almost everything you need depending on what package you decide on and you can always add-on to customize! Also with our package we had a planned food tasting appointment, day of schedule appointment, and rehearsal. The package also included bartenders and security guards. We used Rigo the in-house DJ and everyone loved his style and how he would hype up the crowd. We gave him a playlist of songs we wanted, but we also gave him the freedom to change it based on the vibe and he did not disappoint! Our guest count was 250 - there is a ton of free parking! No worries at all with that. Our guests told us the food was delicious, the venue was beautiful, and it was an amazing wedding! It was so convenient to have everything in one place. Also, they recently renovated their floors! (See our pictures)

Few tips to future couples because these were things we wish we could have changed/ reminded ourselves:
- ask the venue when their pricing will increase. We booked around Feb 2021 and our wedding was Feb 2022. Like most people and due to COVID, our guest count was up in the air. We booked for 200 guests, knowing that we could always increase our guest count, but could not decrease. We tried to increase our guest count to 250, with the old package pricing for 2021 around January 2022. The old package pricing for that guest count was no longer being honored and we ended up paying a lot more than if we had increased our guest count before the rates went up.
- Ask the day of coordinator or whoever in the wait staff will be cutting your cake to save your cake topper and the top tier (the one for the 1 year anniversary tradition). Our top tier was served and we lost our cake topper.
- If you want a slideshow or video to be played, try it out before the wedding. We spent a lot of time making 2 slideshows, but one didn't work for the tv inside the White House.

Overall, thank you WHEC for everything- we had our wedding just the way we wanted and we can't thank you enough!!

Beautiful Venue

The venue is gorgeous and perfect for all-in-one place event. We loved that we had the venue to ourselves the entire day. There are 3 different spaces to work with that just bring your event to life. All of the staff was pretty amazing and extremely responsive. They offer a list of their preferred vendors but you can hire your own. One thing, if you hire an outside vendor as your DJ and you want fog, make sure they have a Nimbus machine as the venue won’t accept other options. My DJ was amazing and found a machine that met their needs 2 weeks before the event. The day of the event, things went as planned! All of our guests were happy and complimentary of everything. One recommendation if you book this venue…work with the bartender in advance to ensure the drinks are exactly what you want. We didn’t do that and we had guests that mentioned the mixed drinks weren’t quite right. Overall, he was great and did provide a list of the alcohol we would need for our suggested drinks.

Great venue and staff

Our wedding was beautiful and worked out as planned thanks to the staff here. Mimi and Jovan made the whole experience seem effortlessly. I would recommend this venue to anyone looking to have a magical experience.

Amazing Experience

White House Banquets & Event Center made our wedding day MAGICAL! It was such an amazing experience! Mimi, Jovan & Omar showed us so much love and made us feel welcomed into the family. There was never a question that went unanswered, we would send texts the moment we thought of something related to our day and always received a prompt response from August 2018 up until our wedding day December 7, 2019. They made sure all of our needs were met and worked with us to execute the vision that we had. All of our guests had an amazing time! They absolutely loved the food and the dance floor. One even described our day as a “fairytale!” We’re truly thankful that WHBEC took an interest in getting to know us and making sure that our wedding day was all that we imagined!

Couldn't have asked for a better venue

My wife and I could not think of a more perfect location for our wedding. Not only is the White House such a beautiful venue, but their staff is top notch. From the beginning of the process The White House Banquet and Event Center showed us the upmost respect and servitude. Every question we had was answered properly and they made the process of planning a wedding so easy and simple. My wife and I are so thankful for Mimi and the rest of the staff at The White House Banquet and Event Center. I highly recommend them for any wedding/event you have coming up in the future.
