White Chimneys Estate is a mansion wedding venue located in Gap, Pennsylvania. Dating back to 1701, this picturesque country estate features romantic gardens and a historic tobacco barn. The quaint venue is nestled in eastern Lancaster County and beautifully reflects the area’s heritage and landscape. The property is listed on the National Register of Historic Places as a prominent example of the region’s architecture throughout the centuries. Today, the venue’s owners are committed to adhering to sustainable practices wherever possible to ensure visitors can enjoy the space for years to come.
Facilities and Capacity
When you marry at White Chimneys Estate, you can choose to host your nuptials indoors or outdoors. The South Garden features an idyllic pergola accented by rose bushes and is ideal for ceremonies of up to 250 guests. This scenic event space is perched on a vantage point and offers sweeping views of the surrounding countryside. On the other side of the property, the North Garden boasts a tranquil lily pond and fountain as well as an herb and vegetable garden. You can use this space for your ceremony and cocktail hour. Another unique option for your ceremony is the West Lawn, which is surrounded by Amish farmland. You can continue with reception festivities here or transition to the tobacco barn, a rustic and charming indoor space. Decorated with romantic lighting and drapings hanging from the exposed beams, the barn incorporates elegant details into its design. It is suitable for up to 220 guests for a seated reception. Two separate dressing suites are located on the property to accommodate you if you do not wish to see each other before the ceremony.
