Shelly and her staff did an absolutely wonderful job executing exactly what my husband and I wanted for our wedding day. As I was a very hands off bride, I left all of the decor and day of coordinating up to Shelly to decide and she did not miss one single detail. The barn is stunning and all of our guests felt the drive was totally worth it. Let’s not forget about the lodge as we used it for both the guys and gals to get ready and it was the perfect space to do so. Don’t hesitate and book your wedding here for a hassle/stress free wedding day!

Where do I begin. This place is absolutely amazing. From the moment we saw it we fell in love with the venue. Not only did we fall in the with the venue we fell in love with the whole process and the people who run it. The barn is breathtaking and Michelle and her husband do such a good job at taking care and maintaining the property. Michelle helped us through the entire process. Decorations, vendors, everything. It made the process so stress free and enjoyable. From planning, renting decor, and inspiration. We love that we also weren’t rushed. We got to genuinely enjoy the entire weekend. Everything was absolutely perfect. my husband and I always say that we literally wouldn’t have changed one thing about that weekend or the venue. Amazing place. Highly recommend.

Shelly made my weddings the easiest and most perfect day! I wasn’t stressed at all because I knew any little hiccups that were inevitable Shelly would solve, whether it be with me or for me. All of her staff were extremely professional and helpful. She is the easiest person to get along with and takes pride in what she does. I tell everyone that they should get married here because my experience was so amazing. My husband and I will always be so thankful to Shelly for making our day so easy and so special!

I cannot recommend this venue enough. They make the entire experience something special and so easy. The barn and property are absolutely beautiful and well maintained by the owners. The house to get ready in and stay in after the wedding was beautiful and spacious. The whole thing is like something out of a movie. I am so happy my now husband and I chose this venue. Whippoorwill will always hold a special place in mine and my husbands hearts! Not only because of the special day the gave us but because how amazing Shelly and her husband were towards us! We had found them before they were even doing weddings and before the venue was even finished, but with every word Shelly was describing what they were planning on doing it just made us fall in love with the place more and more! Fast forward 2 years later to our wedding day and the place looked AMAZING!! They did so much for us, answered all questions day and night, and made us feel so calm! I couldn’t have asked for a more easy going day for my wedding! I recommend everyone i know here and will forever! Stop looking every else and come check out this amazing piece of heaven!

Shelly and her husband took the headache out of planning our wedding. After working with them, it is evident they really took the time to sit down and curate the most positive experience for their couples when they began their business. One of the biggest advantages of choosing WhipPoorWill is their decision to only have one wedding per weekend. By doing so it allows the couple to set up and break down the day before/after their wedding, therefore eliminating any fears or stress about only getting a two-hour window to rush around on the day of your wedding. Their property and venue beautifully reflect all the hours they spend meticulously maintaining their grounds. The barn is very clean and decorated elegantly with floral chandeliers and greenery. It is so beautiful that we only had to spend time decorating our tables. Shelly is willing and able to help you plan your big day and will do her best to accommodate you anyway she can. There truly are so many options and she spends the time figuring out which package is suited best for each couple’s wants and needs. She has a large selection of décor she allows you to rent from her and allows visits to choose what will compliment your day. The secluded lodge on the same property is spacious enough comfortably house 15 people and they even have a dedicated bride and groom suite. This was such a huge selling point to us because our family could stay the night and not have to worry about driving to a hotel on the night of our wedding. We spent our wedding night on their wrap around deck and enjoyed their hot tub with our friends and family that stayed the night. All in all, our wedding day was truly a fairytale. The venue and lodge are breathtaking, but it is Shelly and her husband that really made our wedding day such a dream. You won’t find more kind or thoughtful people to help you create your perfect wedding.

Shelly & Harry were magnificent throughout our entire wedding planning. We booked before they had their first wedding season & they had many updates that were planned to be completed before our big day...and oh boy, did they deliver! The venue is beautiful and exactly what we had imagined. We cannot recommend a better place! Shelly was very patient with us and did a wonderful job communicating and answering all of our questions.
