Alpine Wedding 2022

After having our dream wedding go up in flames (literally, our Smoky Mountain wedding venue burnt to the ground) three weeks before our wedding date, we luckily found The Alpine Park and Garden LLC. Barry and Fa’tima showed us so much empathy and worked out a wonderful deal for us. Their generosity and flexibility along with their guidance turned our tragic situation into the best possible alternative imaginable. Barry and Fa’tima were easy to work with and made our family and friends feel right at home.

The Best of Mid-Missouri!

There is no better venue in Mid-Missouri... period. The rooms for the bride and groom's parties were perfect for getting ready in before the wedding. We felt so relaxed and accommodated. We had expectations of a fairy tale wedding, and our expectations were exceeded! We opted for the fireworks and were not let down! Thank you to Barry and his crew for making our special day even more special than we thought it could be.

Our wedding day in early September was absolutely perfect! Barry and his staff provided the venue, catered dinner, staffed the bar, and orchestrated a fantastic firework show at the end of the night. We brought our own libations and selected outside vendors for photography, flowers, DJ, photo booth, and dessert.

The venue is charming and fun with plenty of places to walk and explore. There are many places that work perfectly for interesting photos. Less adventurous guests will spend all of their time at the amphitheater for the ceremony or the reception shelter, which are clean, organized and cute. The amphitheater for the ceremony is naturally beautiful and fit our 110 guests perfectly. The shelter for the reception is equipped with a full bar, place for DJ booth, counters for standing and chatting, everything you need. There are many places for kids to explore including trails, ponds, and a swing set.

Barry catered dinner with a fajita bar. It was a hit with all of our guests. Delicious, entertaining, and on time. He was quick to restock the grill and keep things moving when our guests' appetites were larger than expected. Everyone loved chatting with him as they got their food. Fatima worked the bar and was very accommodating and friendly with our guests. She took especially good care of me and my bride. When the whiskey we brought ran out toward the end of the reception, the DJ mentioned it on the mic and Barry responded, "We don't run out of whiskey here," and helped us out. The fireworks lasted for >10 minutes and were orchestrated to perfection. If you decide to include fireworks, keep it a surprise for your guests. It is the first thing most people mention when reminiscing about the wedding.

Don't let the laid back nature of Barry's interactions scare you away. He has everything under control and will make the occasion perfect. If we had to do it all again, we wouldn't change a thing but we would worry less!

Better late than never is my philosophy and I've been meaning to write this review for some time. When I met the owners at Alpine Park and Gardens they had one available date open for the rest of the year that we wanted to get married. I was on the fence about getting married at a venue that seemed so far away from my home in KC but Columbia was a perfect middle ground for family and friends coming in from all over the state and country. However, when I visited Alpine the winter before our wedding, I was sold. The grounds were enchanting. It was truly a unique venue with the charm of a rust and eccentricities. The owners were so unbelievably kind and generous. Beyond offering an affordable venue, they offered food (they smoked and grilled before our event so that we could have one of the best wedding meals ever and even worked with our caterer who brought in most of the side dishes) , drinks, their kitchen, their facilities, and helped us set up and tear down. They were beyond accommodating, helping us get our guests (some elderly in age) to and from the venue and working with us to create a magical evening. Still, to this day, when our wedding is mentioned in a gathering of family or friends, someone will exclaim with large grins- that was the best wedding we have ever been to. I cannot recommend Alpine enough for its' enchantment, charm, accommodations, and flexibility.

Our experience with Alpine Park and Gardens was fantastic! We got the all inclusive package, and Barry set us up with a DJ, photographer, florist, and did all of the catering and probably more that we cannot remember. Barry was very easy-going and flexible, making the day and planning run smoothly and everyone he referred to us was equally accommodating. Besides the amazing service, the grounds were also beautiful and the reception area was setup and cleaned by Barry's crew (which was also beautiful). Anybody looking for a laid-back, hassle-free wedding should get married at Alpine Park and Gardens!

This is the absolute perfect place to get married. The ceremony cite in the woods looks beautiful, and the reception site is like a fairytale. All night long we got compliments on how beautiful everything was. I would highly recommend this to anyone getting married in Columbia, MO.

Alpine Park and Gardens is the most amazing wedding venue I've ever been to... and I had the honor of having my own wedding there! Not only is it so insanely beautiful, but it's also a well-run, well-organized venue that takes your day seriously down to the tiniest detail. Barry is intensely dedicated to making your day the best day that it can be.

Not only that, but it's so affordable! Barry has a range of priced packages that fit with any budget. And because the place is already so beautiful, you dont have to worry much about extra decor, which is a huge money saver as well.

I can't even count the number of times I've heard, "Your wedding was the best wedding I've probably ever been to." And I'm not exaggerating. Almost every person.

Thanks Barry for making our day amazing!

I could go on for days on how great Alpine park & garden is, how ever I'll try to keep it as short as I can. We had our wedding here on June 30th 2012. Barry and his crew was overly helpful with everything we needed. His people went above and beyond to make sure our day was perfect! We used the bartender he supplied, and she was fantastic at mixing the drinks, and keeping everything ice cold on a hot day! In the middle of our first dance the stereo we brought over heated and stopped mid song. He was quick to grab his stereo and have it hooked up ready to go literately in a matter of seconds. The entire place is beautiful, even the parts he had under construction at the time. The only complaints I had was that it was extremely hot and there was no where to go and cool off other than the brides dressing room. A lot of our family is older and not able to withstand the heat, so it made the beginning of the day a little nerve racking. I don't blame Alpine for it being so hot (that was our fault for the timing), how ever it would have been nice to have a large room for people to cool off in. I'm overly happy with how our wedding turned out, and a big thanks to Alpine and all the staff that works there. If I had it to do over again I wouldn't waste time with looking for other places, I'd go strait to Alpine!

We had our wedding at Alpine on June 22, 2013. We had an amazing experience! The venue was all that we could have dreamed of and more! Barry was easy to work with and also gave great suggestions during the planning process. The food was AWESOME! We got many compliments from our guests about how great the food was as well as how much fun the environment was for the wedding. The surprise fireworks was unexpected but such a cool extra for our big day!
