Located in Boston, Massachusetts, GBH Studios is a unique wedding and events venue open for couples planning their special celebration. The GBH team takes pride in offering this cutting-edge venue as a welcoming alternative to inflexible event spaces. This team strives to serve the public not only through public broadcasting programming but by helping clients achieve their dream experience.

Facilities and Capacity

• YAWKEY ATRIUM: Our 3,560 square-foot atrium is eminently adaptable and stylish, hosting up to 200 seated guests or 280 standing guests. Windows 24-feet high to the ceiling, flanked by textured metal walls. Complete with television studio level lighting, a 16’W x 9’H projection screen, audio system, and an overhead glass footbridge perfect for photographs.
• YAWKEY THEATER: The theater's egg-shaped exterior offers truly unique elements for your celebration. This theater offers 200 seats with a superb audio-visual system (including 4k video projection, 25'W x 14'H projection screen, and surround sound with Dolby E deconding). Need to record or livestream? No problem. This space is outfitted with 4 HD remote cameras.
• CALDERWOOD STUDIO: Our 4,500 square-foot, active television studio featuers a 21-foot-high lighting grid, offering incredible visual opportunities for up to 250 seated guests, 400 audience-style, or 400 standing guests. Combine this space with the Atrium for a buffet or cocktail area for up to 500 guests. This black-box type space presents you with a world of opportunities.
• FRASER STUDIO: This 1,768 square-foot recording studio with a 28-foot-high ceiling offers a unique and intimate space for your event with a stunning backdrop. Host up to 80 seated guests or 150 standing guests.

We offer:

• Parking: We are thrilled to offer FREE PARKING to all of your guests during your event in our Guest Street parking garage. All guests will be able to validate their parking right at the venue.
• Catering: We have an incredible lists of approved caterers that you can work with that specialize in various cuisine and price points. Because you'll be working with your choice of caterer directly, there are no food and beverage minimums to consider with our venue.
• Event Staff: At GBH, one of our seasoned Event Producers will be your dedicated contact at GBH throughout your entire process -- from your initial site visit to the big day!
• Audio-Visual Experts: We work with some of the best of the best in public media. Our production team is top notch, and they are well-experienced when it comes to events, production shoots, and more. They are available to work with you on your audio/visual needs. Or, want to work with an outside vendor? No problem. We're flexible.
