East Meets West catered our backyard wedding in June, 2022 - they were fantastic! They specifically designed our menu to meet our preferences (one of us is vegetarian) and cultural background. Leading up to the wedding they helped us get rentals and we had a wonderful tasting (full portions, tons of leftovers). On the day of, they brought in all their equipment and a whole team of staff, who were so professional, quickly and calmly managing all problems that came up (and problems do sometimes happen during backyard weddings!). Plus, the food was delicious - so many guests commented on how much they enjoyed it. We are so glad we decided to hire East Meets West for our wedding and highly recommend working with them!

We got married September 2025 and had East Meets West as our catering team. We cannot say enough good things about how amazing they were! We highly recommend! From our initial meeting, tasting menu, countless messages/phone calls throughout the planning process, all the way through to the amazing service and incredible food the day of our wedding, we were so impressed! The chef was able to blend themes from my husband's Dominican background into our food choices for the day and it all turned out delicious. Our guests are still saying it was the best food they’ve ever had at a wedding. Catherine served as our wedding planner guiding us through every last detail including our menu, place setting selection, and details for the day of. She and the chef ensured all the food came out hot even when our speeches went longer than anticipated. The waitstaff and bartenders were extremely professional and provided top class service. They were also all so fun once the party started handing out desserts on the dance floor and keeping us all with drinks in hand. Overall, we could not be happier with EMW and our wedding day was seamless due to their incredible work and planning. BOOK THEM! They will take your wedding to the next level!

East Meets West was amazing throughout our entire wedding planning process! From the initial meeting through our wedding day, Catherine and her team provided excellent service. Beyond providing us catering services, Catherine was super helpful in giving broader advice on timelines for the day based on her experience as a vendor, as well as tips when picking out our place settings. The food itself was incredible and we really appreciated the care EMW put into developing our menu. The passed appetizers were unique and the entrees were so yummy. The service was so smooth the day of our wedding as well. Everyone got their meals quickly and it felt so seamless throughout the whole night. I can't recommend EMW enough - they were an incredible vendor!

Happy to provide 5+ stars for East meets West. They catered a planned outdoor wedding which shifted due to weather less than 24 hours before to an indoor event. Catherine as event planner is so expert! She worked w the bride and groom and guided them to optimal choices. She was always available, very knowledgeable, very flexible, and very resourceful. She brought a calm competent “can do” attitude and approach to everything. The food was spectacular! We keep hearing “best food ever” from our guests. Even after pre dinner activities went beyond allotted time, the food was delivered hot, perfectly done (filet and salmon) and creatively plated. The service was consistently excellent! Very attentive to the bride and groom and every guest. They went over and above at every chance. We have recommended them several times since the fall wedding. I recommend them with confidence and enthusiasm! They earn and exceed their Best of Boston status!

These guys are the best! We use them annually for an event, and their staff and service are top notch. Kind and fun to work with, their attention to detail and focus on quality makes for a great and successful event, and our guests were beyond pleased. Truly enjoy working with this team, and their quality and value for the money is unmatched!

East Meets West was our caterer for our wedding and they are INCREDIBLE! Highly recommend booking them! They are unlike any other caterer or venue - they let us customize our menu entirely and this is their normal practice! Plus everything was DELICIOUS! Our coordinator, Catherine, was so helpful and communicative. We called her Catherine the Great! And Chef Kevin is a treasure and real artist with food!

EMW catered our city wedding and the food was absolutely perfect! We were so lucky to have Catherine as our coordinator. We relied on Catherine’s expertise during the process. She knew what was best for our space and our vision. Our guests raved about the food and loved that they could get second servings since it was a buffet.

We worked with Catherine for our wedding in September 2022. Given the crazy wedding season, she only started getting more hands on in the month leading up to the wedding. Up until then, she was a little less responsive (still responsive though!), but we trusted that we were in good hands. And she and her team did not disappoint! We are really glad to have had the pleasure of working with East Meets West. They listened to our concerns, and worked with us to get the amazing food we wanted with some nods to our cultures. Our friends with food allergies were pleased with their attentiveness to allergies. Also - their tasting room/headquarters is absolutely gorgeous down in the Seaport. We felt like we were in good hands the whole time leading up to our wedding. Catherine and her team were amazing and very detail-oriented on the day. The service was impeccable, and the food was delicious! I would recommend East Meets West to any local friends and family planning a big event.

You know they've knocked it out of the park when weeks later we still have guests mention that it was some of the best wedding food they had. We opted for something a little nontraditional with stations and I could not recommend that enough. It gave ample options for everyone and EMW was incredibly helpful with adjusting to dietary requests while still keeping everything cohesive. I was blown away by the presentation of everything from the succulents on the passed hor d'oeuvres to the accompaniments on the carving station. As a foodie, you cannot go wrong with East Meets West.

We worked with East Meets West because they are affiliated with The Exchange Conference Center in the Boston Seaport. We loved that everything was onsite and we had a coordinator to help us work with the caterer.

For our reception, we had specific ideas about the food we wanted, and EMW more than delivered! We envisioned stations with our favorite foods for dinner, a dessert buffet, and later night snacks.

We got to taste our hor devours and dinner options, and it really got us excited for the big day.

The stations were overflowing with delicious food, and everyone had an option to pick from, including vegan, vegetarian, nut-free, and gluten-free. Our dessert table also featured vegan and gluten-friendly options. For late-night, the caterer humored us with Brooklyn-style egg-creams and cheese pizza. It was perfect!

Everything was delicious and presented beautifully. And the leftovers to take home was a wonderful surprise. We received so many comments on the food, and know our family will be talking about it for years to come!
