They are always really responsive, and always answered our questions no matter how silly they seemed to be. We got the building from Friday-Sunday, which made preparations for reception really smooth. Everything is white, and clean so it's a blank slate for any kinds of decorating.Sent on 05/09/2016

Awesome reception hall. Made reception memorable. Liz was very helpful and worked with us to get what we desired.Sent on 07/13/2014

Westside hall was a great venue to work with. They were always very responsive to email and returning phone calls with any questions we had. Liz- who we worked with the most did a great job helping us set everything up and worked with our decorator to get everything looking perfect. They let us come in the day before to set-up at 9AM and leave our decorations over night on Saturday so we didn't have to completely clean at the end of the evening, which was very generous since our families were exhausted from the day. I also liked that the space is a blank canvas so you can decorate with your own style and not have to worry about clashing with the already there decor.Sent on 10/19/2014
I think the value of the hall is reduce considering a few things. Though the hall can hold 300+ the bathrooms are ridiculously small and cramped (ex. only 2 women's stall and only room for 1 person to wait in the bathroom if the door is closed or you have to keep the door open, which is uncomfortable). The kitchen is not conducive to having a cater come in to serve a nice meal. Our cater had to set up a tent in the back to accommodate for our menu and be able to serve for the number of guest we had. Also, being attached to a U-Haul facility makes it seem not as nice as it actually is on the inside.
My only huge complaint was during the reception the air conditioning went out and all of a sudden the hall was unbearable and many guest were standing outside/near the doors. At first no one with the hall seemed to be taking care of the situation and thought it was okay to not do anything. Also, we were told we couldn't leave the doors open but without the doors there was no cool air coming through. Finally, my cousin took over and had them bring out large fans and got them to let us open the doors to keep air circulating and a breeze coming in. Once that happened the hall became comfortable again and people were able to dance and enjoy themselves.
