WeddingsPDX is a wedding DJ and entertainment service based out of Lake Oswego, Oregon. Stephen Brown is the founder and entertainer of WeddingsPDX. Stephen has been DJing for over 20 years, having performed for hundreds of weddings and special events and even opening for big-name artists like T-Pain and Deepak Chopra. Stephen truly cares about your special wedding day, and he is dedicated to helping his clients feel relaxed, knowing that their wedding will be everything they’ve dreamed it to be.

Jose at Weddings PDX is awesome!

Jose DJ'd for our wedding and he was awesome! He played great music all night, he was professional, and he got along with everybody. Everyone raved at how good the music was. I would highly recommend him to anyone!

Wedding and reception DJ

I highly recommend Stephen for wedding and reception DJ. He met with us beforehand to create a customized (and unusual playlist). He listened, he created an amazing reception party with lots of dancing and great music. He’s reliable, professional, responsible and I’d recommend him for any wedding. Beyond his awesome DJ skills, Stephen is just a bright shiny person to have involved at a wedding, big smiles, healthy vibes. 5 stars++

Awesome wedding DJ!

Stephen did a fantastic job! Stephen met with us and went over our time-line and even gave us some good suggestions to help things go smoothly. The music was spot on during the cocktail hour and dinner and when the dancing started, he knew how to read a floor, and brought the energy up and everybody danced all night. Stephen even took some nice pictures and sent them to us after our wedding. If you need a great dj, this guy will take care of you.

Excellent!

My biggest wedding planning worry was that I wouldn’t hire the right DJ. Stephen put me at ease when we talked about what we were looking for. I needed a DJ who could not only MC the evening, as I didn’t have a wedding planner, but who could keep people on the dance floor. We wanted an EPIC dance party. He did both, flawlessly. I highly recommend his service and that when you do hire him, only give him your very most important “must plays” and let him run with it. Every song day was better than the last, we danced nearly every second of our reception. Additionally, Stephen took some fantastic candid photos AND engaged with our guests. So many of my guests have contacted me in the last few days to tell me “that DJ was on point!!!!!” I could not be happier.

The best night of my life, thanks to Stephen the DJ!

Stephen is the BEST! He helped create my dream wedding with the most fun and beautiful reception ever! He is great to work with asking all the right questions and gives suggestions on how to make my special day even better. He is definitely a pro and knows how to read the floor and the keep the party going. And he even got my Uncle Mike out on the dance floor and that is say a whole lot. Thank you Stephen!

Perfect DJ for your event

Stephen was professional, courteous, and most of all FUN!! He knows what music to play to get any crowd going and just about any genre at his fingertips. He played fun electrónica and some 70s classics for the different generations represented at our event!

The Ultimate Professional for Your Once in a Lifetime Event

What can I say that he's awesome!!! Stephen was set up and ready to go with plenty of time to spare, very professional with his appearance/attire and treated all of our guests as if it was their wedding. His playlists were extensive (seemed to have everything we could have asked for) and knew how to keep the event balanced; yet was not overly loud/intrusive. All in all, I couldn't be happier with selecting Stephen for our special event!

Here's your review: "Stephen was an absolute professional for my wedding last year. He met with me on multiple occasions to ascertain my desires regarding my reception needs. He worked hand in hand with my musical accompaniment to facilitate the right acoustic sound while considering microphones and speakers. I am extremely grateful that he played the music my husband and I wanted to share with our guests, yet showed a desire for the music genre our friends requested. Stephen not only rocked our reception, but took photos, he gave us heart and soul while providing a service that I doubt anyone else could have. Thank you DJ Ujjayi for making our day more special than we could have ever asked for."

Our Dream DJ

Working with Stephen was truly the best! He was attentive to all of our requests, truly listened, gave us great advice about the flow of our big night and kept our reception party rockin' all night long! He was incredibly engaging, interactive with our guests and was completely on point with all our big moments. He led us into toasts, special dances and knew just when to tone the mood down and then bring it right back up. Stephen is incredibly professional, has top notch equipment and a vast knowledge of music. Several of our guests commented on how they could tell just how much Stephen loves his job! I would recommend Stephen again and again. Five stars is hardly enough to show how much we appreciated him.
