History
The Washington Crossing Inn adjoins the spot where General George Washington and his troops assembled before the historic crossing of the Delaware River on Christmas night in 1776. In 1919, the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania created a park along the Delaware to commemorate the famous crossing. In 2009, brothers Dr. Eli Mordechai and Mr. Jerry Moradi purchased the inn to preserve the landmark of Bucks County hospitality.
When we got engaged on March 1, 2020, we had no idea the extent that COVID-19 would change our lives. We always wanted a short engagement, and booked the WCI for our September date. Dayna was incredible throughout the process. She had a virtual tour for us, organized a take-away tasting, and made so many accommodations for us due to the changing environment. When it became clear we needed to transition our indoor reception to the outdoors, she also coordinated everything beautifully, including bringing in additional tenting. They made sure our big day was perfect, and I really felt comfortable with all their safety measures in place. Not one guest reported any symptoms after our event, and I attribute it to the seriousness that WCI took in their policy and procedures. They also were incredible flexible on the contract, and let me decide if and how we moved forward. There was no pressure, and I really felt like I could have rescheduled with no issue if that was my preference, but I am so glad we decided to move forward.
The WCI is a beautiful venue, and a wonderful location for photos. Being able to take photos across the street in the historic park, really made for stunning images. The garden area for our ceremony and reception was absolutely gorgeous. So many guests also commented to me how delicious the food was at the WCI. Overall, I felt like booking with the WCI was an incredible value. The service was top notch, and for everything they include in their packages- it really makes the planning process very streamlined and simple. I used many of their preferred vendors, and loved them all.
Dayna and the team really go out of their way to make sure your day is perfect- I have no hesitation about recommending them to other brides.

Perfect Fall/Halloween wedding venue
We had been going to Washington Crossing Inn for years for brunches and dinners. So when my husband and I got engaged, I wanted our wedding there. Dayna was very easy to work with to make the wedding go as smooth as possible and would email me to remind me to schedule things before the due dates. She was there every step of the way and made sure we were happy with all of the decisions. I highly recommend this venue for your wedding, you

Best All Inclusive Venue in the Bucks County Area
I cannot express enough how amazing Dayna and Nita and the Washington Crossing crew were during the planning and execution of our wedding day on 10/19/19. On top of that, the value was amazing for all that you get per head. Tax and gratuity are included and they do not nickle and dime you to death. Flower table centerpieces and a cake or dessert table is also included in the per head price! You are given reasonable upgrade prices and they will work with you on specialty/allergy meals for your guests and keep track of all other tiny details. A handful of guests told me they have never seen such a classy, fun, and well organized wedding event. Everything started and ended on time, and the staff helped not only set up the banquet room with personal decor as instructed, but boxed everything up in the end for us. Including the top of our cake! The few things left behind were stored at the venue until we returned from our honeymoon, but ultimately you need to get everything out of the building after the wedding ends.
I researched many places in the Bucks County and Mercer County area, and this was the best deal for such a gorgeous historic place with AMAZING food. Yes, our guests also could not stop talking about the delicious cocktail hour and reception food. If you tally up other venues that do not include taxes/gratuity/flower centerpieces/cake, this is still the best deal you will find in the area.
The ceremony was outside in the gazebo on a beautiful fall day, but they have a permanent tent set up with beautiful chandeliers for rainy weather. They have literally thought of everything for your wedding celebration, and I am beyond happy with the service I received. i HIGHLY recommend the Washington Crossing Inn for any events! Dayna, the Banquet manager, was my savior during the stress of wedding planning, so you are in good hands with her & Nita was a pro at running the days events.
The team a Washington Crossing Inn are a joy to work with. Their Quality Service and Attention to detail makes weddings there Flawless. We love working with their team. Anyone looking for a wonderful and unique location for their event should look no further.
