    Wonderful Venue for a Wedding

The staff at Washington Crossing Inn worked with us to create the exact wedding that we wanted. They were flexible and responsive during the process and we felt like the price was reasonable for the experience that we had.

    Perfect Venue

Christina and Danielle were truly fabulous throughout the entire planning process. They were always responsive and helped me with numerous changes and special requests, some of which were very out there. Our decision to choose your venue was largely due to Christina’s quick responses to my emails, especially compared to other venues that took days to get back to me.

Danielle’s enthusiasm and attention to detail during our drop-off appointment left me confident that the team would execute my vision perfectly.

Nita and the service team on the day of the wedding also provided exceptional service. Multiple guests complimented how well they were taken care of.

One thing I was particularly looking forward to was the food, and I’m disappointed I didn’t get to enjoy more! I’ve been receiving rave reviews from my guests about the dishes, even months later! I sampled each entrée, and they were all perfectly prepared. Dietary restrictions were handled professionally and safely, and the Vodka Rigatoni is to die for—I wish I could have had an entire bowl!

Having worked in high-volume entertainment and hospitality for over 14 years, with a specialty in event execution, I know what it takes to lead a team to deliver such a seamless and exceptional experience. Many of my guests, who also work in the industry, told me this was the best wedding they’d ever attended. I cannot thank your team enough for making our day a success.

    Totally thrilled!!!

Christina and Danielle were incredible and made everything run so smoothly - I cannot say enough great things. They were extremely responsive and helpful before and during the reception. They also had great recommendations which made hiring vendors much easier. The food was delicious and got many compliments from our guests. Christina very kindly specially arranged to get a particular liquor for our signature drink, which my husband really appreciated. The bridal suite was set up so nicely for our arrival with snacks and drinks which helped everyone take a second to breathe. I was absolutely thrilled with how beautifully all of the decor was set out, and all of the staff made drop off and packing up far easier than I was expecting. The garden was absolutely stunning for the cocktail hour. The perfect setting for a fall wedding reception! Absolutely thrilled with our decision to choose the WCI!

And we would highly recommend it for any special occasion.

    Fabulous reception venue!

So happy that we went with Washington Crossing Inn for our wedding reception! They have wonderful and reasonably priced packages that minimize the number of additional vendors that you need to find. It's fabulous having the park a quick walk away for gorgeous pictures. They offer comfortable rooms to get ready in for the bridal party and groom's party. Most importantly, the staff (especially Christina, the banquet manager) go above and beyond to make sure your day is exactly what you are hoping for. From helping us craft our (delicious!) signature cocktail to setting up the room wonderfully to being extraordinarily flexible and accommodating of our desire to hold the cocktail hour outside on a day with spotty rain, I can't imagine a more helpful venue!

    Couldn’t ask for anything more…

From beginning to end, Christina, Banquet Manager, was there to help, when needed. She had everything at her fingertips making our journey such a delight. I am so grateful that we chose this venue - perfection every step of the way. It takes team effort and they are a prime example…

    Exceeded Expectations !

We looked at over 10 wedding venues before deciding on Washington Crossing Inn. The beauty of their Garden Area is what really attracted us. As it turned out, the weather didn't cooperate. Plan "B", The beautifully appointed Banquet Room. We were able to get our "staged" photos outside before the rain. The staff did an excellent job of setting up the Banquet Room and as we entered the ceremony, the rain began outdoors. The ceremony, cocktail party and reception were perfect. Dayna, the wedding coordinator orchestrated everything perfectly! All the guests commented on the professionalism of the staff and the quality of the the food, from soup to deserts. Many said it was the best wedding they had ever attended. We could not give a higher recommendation! If you want the best, this is the place !!

    Best night we've ever had

There aren't enough words to describe how great our experience with the Washington Crossing Inn was. The banquet manager, Dayna, was amazing. She was super responsive to emails and calls during the whole planning process, especially when we had to make the decision to postpone our wedding in April 2020 for a year due to the pandemic. The venue was very understanding and were ready to refund us all of the money we put down if we wanted to. It made the whole ordeal a lot less stressful knowing they were willing to work with us (especially when we heard so many other venues were not flexible).

Almost everything is included with the wedding package- the food, drinks, flowers for the tables, and the cake- so you don't have to worry about any of that when planning. It made it very easy. There is a beautiful and spacious bridal suite with champagne and snacks that you can use to get ready in.

On the day of the wedding, it was really storming outside so we couldn't go have the ceremony in the garden area. I asked Dayna if there was any way we could have it in the ballroom instead of the tent outside which was the normal back up plan. On very short notice, she and her staff transformed the ballroom into this beautiful, intimate ceremony space in front of the fireplace with candles and flowers. It was breathtaking.

The food was amazing- our guests kept commenting on how delicious it was and how big the portions were. The staff and bartenders were friendly and attentive. And our wedding attendant Nita took care of everything we needed throughout the night. Everything ran so smoothly- it let us just be able to enjoy the night with our family. They set everything up for you and at the end of the night, everything is packed up for you and ready to go.

I HIGHLY recommend the Washington Crossing Inn- Dayna and her team gave us the perfect wedding.

    Exceeded my expectations

When we got engaged on March 1, 2020, we had no idea the extent that COVID-19 would change our lives. We always wanted a short engagement, and booked the WCI for our September date. Dayna was incredible throughout the process. She had a virtual tour for us, organized a take-away tasting, and made so many accommodations for us due to the changing environment. When it became clear we needed to transition our indoor reception to the outdoors, she also coordinated everything beautifully, including bringing in additional tenting. They made sure our big day was perfect, and I really felt comfortable with all their safety measures in place. Not one guest reported any symptoms after our event, and I attribute it to the seriousness that WCI took in their policy and procedures. They also were incredible flexible on the contract, and let me decide if and how we moved forward. There was no pressure, and I really felt like I could have rescheduled with no issue if that was my preference, but I am so glad we decided to move forward.

The WCI is a beautiful venue, and a wonderful location for photos. Being able to take photos across the street in the historic park, really made for stunning images. The garden area for our ceremony and reception was absolutely gorgeous. So many guests also commented to me how delicious the food was at the WCI. Overall, I felt like booking with the WCI was an incredible value. The service was top notch, and for everything they include in their packages- it really makes the planning process very streamlined and simple. I used many of their preferred vendors, and loved them all.

Dayna and the team really go out of their way to make sure your day is perfect- I have no hesitation about recommending them to other brides.

    Perfect Fall/Halloween wedding venue

We had been going to Washington Crossing Inn for years for brunches and dinners. So when my husband and I got engaged, I wanted our wedding there. Dayna was very easy to work with to make the wedding go as smooth as possible and would email me to remind me to schedule things before the due dates. She was there every step of the way and made sure we were happy with all of the decisions. I highly recommend this venue for your wedding, you

Best All Inclusive Venue in the Bucks County Area

I cannot express enough how amazing Dayna and Nita and the Washington Crossing crew were during the planning and execution of our wedding day on 10/19/19. On top of that, the value was amazing for all that you get per head. Tax and gratuity are included and they do not nickle and dime you to death. Flower table centerpieces and a cake or dessert table is also included in the per head price! You are given reasonable upgrade prices and they will work with you on specialty/allergy meals for your guests and keep track of all other tiny details. A handful of guests told me they have never seen such a classy, fun, and well organized wedding event. Everything started and ended on time, and the staff helped not only set up the banquet room with personal decor as instructed, but boxed everything up in the end for us. Including the top of our cake! The few things left behind were stored at the venue until we returned from our honeymoon, but ultimately you need to get everything out of the building after the wedding ends.

I researched many places in the Bucks County and Mercer County area, and this was the best deal for such a gorgeous historic place with AMAZING food. Yes, our guests also could not stop talking about the delicious cocktail hour and reception food. If you tally up other venues that do not include taxes/gratuity/flower centerpieces/cake, this is still the best deal you will find in the area.

The ceremony was outside in the gazebo on a beautiful fall day, but they have a permanent tent set up with beautiful chandeliers for rainy weather. They have literally thought of everything for your wedding celebration, and I am beyond happy with the service I received. i HIGHLY recommend the Washington Crossing Inn for any events! Dayna, the Banquet manager, was my savior during the stress of wedding planning, so you are in good hands with her & Nita was a pro at running the days events.

This was an excellent venue for our fall wedding. It is located in one of the most beautiful places in Bucks County, by the Delaware River surrounded by the fall foliage with a great garden and grounds. They offer great wedding packages that can fit any budget. We opted for the Traditional Wedding Package which included open bar, floral centerpieces, cake, hors d'oeuvres, 3 course-dinner, garden for cocktails and use of bridal suite. We were also able to request a signature drink for our wedding :) Kelly, the event coordinator, was very accommodating and responsive to our requests and made it easy to plan our day. The service of the staff the day of the event was exceptional. Our guests and ourselves were well-taken cared of during the event. Our hostess kept on checking our sweetheart table to make sure we had our courses and drinks. They also accommodated a plate of cheese, fruits, hors d'oeuvres and champagne at the bridal suite. The food was amazing and portions were generous. The florist at Gordon Florist did a good job with the centerpieces. And the cake from Cramer's was delicious and pretty! Our guests had great things to say about the food, drinks and the service. We were very pleased with the service that the Washington Crossing Inn staff delivered that made our day even more special. Thank you so much!!! We highly recommend this venue for any event!!! -Jayvee & Jonathan

I wanted to elope and my husband wanted a wedding. Washington Crossing was the perfect venue for someone who did not want to be bogged down by details. Kelly, the event coordinator, was super easy to work with and had good response time. Day of, everything was beautiful. The garden doesn’t need any extra declaration and the ballroom was beautiful with minimum decoration.

The florist for the center pieces did a great job and the cake from Cramer’s was delicious! Our guests all remarked on the food and how nice the venue was!

I cannot say enough to praise Washington Crossing Inn as a wedding venue. My husband and I had an amazing experience with everyone involved. We got married 11/05/16 and had our reception there. Our wedding day was perfect and without a doubt, it was all thanks to the great service the Inn and its staff provided.

When we first got engaged last year and were researching venues, we had a horrific time trying to find venues that would be upfront with us about costs. Thankfully, my husband found Washington Crossing Inn. We met with Rachael who laid out everything so nicely and even gave us a quote on the spot with our estimated guest number. It was amazing. We booked the venue then and there.

Their service is beyond amazing. It was one of the most reasonably priced venues we had seen, which included beautiful floral centerpieces, the wedding cake, and the open bar. We were floored at how much was included. Later, we worked more with Kelly as the date drew nearer and she was so very kind, accommodating, & professional. She was actually going to be off that weekend but assured us she would relay everything for the staff so that we would not have to be bothered- and it was perfect! There were no hitches...they laid out all of our personal decorations beautifully and the hostess (Anita, I believe? I am so sorry if I have that wrong, you were a pleasure to work with!) worked seamlessly with our DJ and guided the flow of our reception. Everything was beyond what we could've imagined. We had our cocktail hour outside in the garden (with cozy heaters because of the November chill), which all our guests loved. The food is spectacular. Many of our guests raved about how they'd never had a better steak in their life. The Inn is beautiful, with rustic charm on its own with the picturesque park across the street. The scenery in our pictures is stunning.

All in all, I could not more highly recommend Washington Crossing Inn. Do yourself a favor and check them out.

We had our wedding reception at the Inn, following our church wedding in nearby Lambertville. From our first meeting with Rachael, the planning has been a seamless process. Rachael and Jane were so patient with my numerous questions (type-A bride, here), and were so professional and quick to respond. The packages are competitive and reasonable, but also take a lot of stress out of the wedding planning because the flowers and wedding cake are included. It was a breeze to work with each vendor and they were able to create my wedding vision perfectly.

The food here is really fantastic. We were a little underwhelmed at the tasting but it must have been a different chef that day because our reception food was really phenomenal, and we are still getting compliments on how delicious everything was. Rachael also set up all my decorations exactly as I had imagined, and the evening flowed so smoothly. I personally have never seen such impeccable service at a wedding reception, but everything was on point and flowed flawlessly.

What is also really important to remember is that the staff at the Inn are really fantastic people, not just excellent at their jobs. Wedding planning is stressful, but talking to Rachael, Jane, Alex (general manager), and any other staff while we visited or ate there just reassured me that this was the perfect place for our wedding reception. We are already planning on coming back for our 1-year anniversary!

This place was awesome. They worked with us in every way. My wife wanted a gazebo to get married by and their set up is so beautiful with the flowers and fountain. We weren’t able to get married by the gazebo due to the weather but we used the tent that was set up outside. The staff did a remarkable job with setting up everything and making it beautiful. The rain held off long enough for us to get pictures in garden area by the gazebo.
We choose the wine cupboard room for our reception and it worked out great. The food was excellent and the staff was on point when it came to the food. We did a family style dinner and the food was hot when it came out. Our entire guest was complimenting how wonderful the place looked and how good the food was. I would recommend this place to anyone that is looking to get married. We can’t thank them enough on how wonderful they made our day…..

We had our wedding ceremony and reception at the Washington Crossing Inn. Jane and Rachael were really easy to work with and extremely responsive. We were planning our wedding from out of town and they made it very easy for us to plan. WCI had the best value from all of the places that we looked at in the Washington Crossing/New Hope area. They include your cake and flowers in the wedding package and both of these vendors were very easy to work with as well.

We had our rehearsal dinner at this location and it was wonderful. They were very helpful with selecting the best option for our event. They set everything up and checked in with us all night to help with the flow of the evening. The space was beautiful and we loved the food!!

Rachel, Jane, and our hostess Jenn, all did a wonderful job! All of our guests couldn't have been happier with the beauty of the place or the yumminess of the food! We couldn't have asked for a more perfect place for our wedding. Rachel was the best to work with! Her and Jane made everything we asked for happen. We even had a few special requests and they made them a reality! Thanks so much!

The Washington Crossing Inn was our venue for our 9/20/2014 wedding, and we could not be happier with the job they did! In searching for a venue, we were looking for a place with historic charm, elegance, and value, and the Inn exceeded all of our expectations! Rachael and Jane were absolute professionals during all of the steps up to and including the event. They were very organized with the many steps and details involved before the wedding. Whenever we had a question, Rachel or Jane were prompt and professional in their response. Having never planned a large event before, we are so grateful for the help we received from Jane and Rachael.

We received countless compliments about the outdoor ceremony, cocktail hour, and ballroom from our guests. The venue is absolutely gorgeous, inside and out. The garden is very well maintained with seasonally appropriate flowers, and is made secluded for outdoor ceremonies/cocktail hours. The ballroom is so detailed from the chandeliers to the crown molding that it will take your breath away! We used the bridal suite before the wedding to prepare, which was ideal for the pre-ceremony photo opportunities. The suite is large and just as beautiful as the rest of the Inn. The layout of the ballroom is very functional as well for dancing and dining. With the dance floor right next to the bar, guests are more likely to stay on the dance floor and keep the party hopping. The food provided by the Inn was also delicious and plentiful. Their package options were very affordable compared to others, and the quality was unmatched. The package we chose included our cake and centerpieces which was very convenient.

All of the employees at the Inn were professional and made us feel completely at ease in the tense days leading up to the wedding. I would highly recommend the Washington Crossing Inn to anyone looking for a venue!

The Washington Crossing Inn is the perfect place for a wedding and/or reception. My fiance and I were there for dinner prior to our engagement and saw a wedding taking place in the garden. We couldn't see much at the time since the staff does block off the area for the privacy of the bridal party and wedding guests, but what we could see looked beautiful! We returned after our engagement to get a better look at the gardens and the rest of the inn. We met with Rachel who explained the various packages and showed us around the gardens and reception area. My original plan was to shop around and compare venues/prices but we never made it out of the parking lot. We looked at a calendar and booked the Inn that same day! I work 40 hours + and at the time, I was 52 years old, so needless to say, I was a little nervous and overwhelmed about the thought of planning a wedding. Rachel, Jen (our wedding hostess), and the rest of the staff at the Washington Crossing Inn made all the planning so easy and helped to make our wedding and reception more perfect than we could ever have imagined!!

My husband and I were very happy with our wedding reception at the WCI. We worked with Jane and Rachael for nearly a year and Rachael was our night-of coordinator, both were fantastic throughout the process! We had a Saturday wedding in March and were able to take advantage of their off-season rate, which allowed us to go for the premium reception package. This package included centerpiece flowers, candelabras, a 3 tier wedding cake, linens, 5 hr open bar, half dozen passed hors d'oeuvres, raw bar, pasta station during cocktail hour, soup, salad, entrée with 3 choices, venetian table, and bananas foster. The price was amazing and with all the inclusions, I’m not sure why anyone would look somewhere else for a ballroom style reception in the area. Our theme was science-chic and I had a ton of personalized details throughout the tables, all of which were handled very well and to my liking. The guests all gushed at how well everything was taken care of! The only negative thing I heard was that the steaks were not cooked to order after the waiters had asked people – they were all served medium/well. I can understand logistically that it would be difficult to make individual ones, but perhaps in the future the steaks should just be served without asking cooking preference so people won’t be dissatisfied/ignored. Otherwise the food was terrific! We had 75 in attendance with 10 tables and the room felt spacious but not empty. Would definitely recommend!

From the minute that the tour ended at the Washington Crossing Inn, my now husband and I knew that this was "the place". Throughout the entire planning process and day of the wedding Rachael and Jane were phenomenal! I never doubted that they knew what they were doing and would make our wedding a success. Every email that I sent to them was answered with care and kindness. The days leading up to the wedding they were flexible and helpful. The day of the wedding, Rachael was there to confidently host the event, the wait staff was wonderful, and the food for the cocktail hour and reception was outstanding. One guest proclaimed that "it was the best food that they have ever had at a wedding". All in all, I could not have been happier with our decision to have our wedding here. We wish we could relive the day!

Our experience with Washington Crossing Inn was nothing short of perfect. We primarily worked with Rachael throughout the course of our engagement and she was incredibly helpful, organized and a delight to work with. She always answered our questions promptly. The Inn was also very flexible and accommodating. Our friends had a cake made for us as our wedding gift, and Rachael and the rest of the staff figured out a way to have it delivered, put it together and store it for us, all just days before the wedding. We also had a ton of crafts and personal touches, and the staff were happy to set up everything for us, just the way we wanted. Washington Crossing Inn is also a great value. Centerpieces were included in the price per person - something that was not offered at any of the other venues we considered in the area. The food was also fantastic. The Inn is a unique, quaint and historic venue that felt perfect and fitting for us. It is located on the Delaware River and next door to Washington Crossing State Park, which served as a beautiful setting for our wedding photos. The bridal suite at the venue was a perfect place for us to spend time with our wedding party and parents, and to freshen up before the reception started. And finally, the Inn's bar served as the perfect after- party spot for our friends and family who wanted to keep celebrating. We truly could not have had a better experience. The venue is beautiful, the food is fantastic and the customer service was outstanding. Thank you Rachael, Jane and all of the staff at Washington Crossing Inn for helping to make our wedding day perfect!

I'm so glad that we chose Washington Crossing Inn as our wedding venue. The garden was such a beautiful spot for our ceremony and our reception was wonderful.

The wedding coordinator, Rachael, was beyond amazing. She was so helpful from the time we first visited the venue until the end of the reception. She was quick to answer the many questions I e-mailed her about and was dedicated to making our wedding perfect.

Washington Crossing Inn was also one of the more reasonably priced venues that we looked at which made it even better!

The Washington Crossing Inn is not only historic but a magical place to have a wedding or any event for that matter. I was married there on 5-25-2013 and there was nothing they did not do to make the day perfection personified. Jane and Rachael were on top of every single detail, including dietary needs, decor, working with vendors and then... there was the food and service. The hors d'oeuvres, the soup, the salad, the entrees, the desserts were as if you had ordered them individually and isn't that what you want for your wedding day. Cooking on a large scale can be difficult and is often just under or just over cooked. Not one item fell victim to that unfortunate catering snafoo. The lamb lollilops at the cock tail hour were stunning, the Chillean Sea Bass was succulent and the Filet/Rack of Lamb was literally to die for. On to the decor. Besides the stunning bridal suite, they just recently updated the ballroom and the foyer and replaced the chandeliers which made the room even more exquisite then it already was in the first place when we visited last year. This establishment knows the difference between aging to perfection and dated. It was as though we were transported back in time into American History with all the elegance and beauty frozen in time.

Additionally, even a little rain cannot get these folks down. The cocktail hour was moved under a tent to perfection and yet the surroundings were still beautiful. On to the service, Jane and Rachael will follow up to the nth degree to be sure all your needs are met and the staff/servers were every where they needed to be every time. If you turned left you were being offered an appetizer and if you turned right then you were being offered a drink or being asked if there was anything you needed. I cannot rave enough about this venue, its service and most valuable the people. Thank you so much to all.

On June 9, 2012 my husband and I got married and had our reception at WCI. They did an an awesome job with every detail of the wedding. Our friends and family say that was the best food they had tasted. Everything was soo yummy and the dessert table was amazing. they were very helpful and friendly during the whole process.

The only note I want to make is I was disappointed in the cake vendor they used. It tasted great, but didn't come out in appearance. The buttercream was melting and sliding off the cake and the roses didn't look like roses. The grooms cake was not what we discussed and the cake was dry. WCI did feel bad and refunded us our money back for the cake so that made it a little better.

All and all i strongly recommend them for your wedding.

I couldn't have asked for a more perfect setting for our wedding! The gazebo with all the beautiful flowers and fountain made it so picture perfect! Jane, the banquet director, was so wonderful to work with and made sure we were accomodated in every which way we wanted! The rest of the staff from the chef, servers, batenders to our wedding coordinator on the big day were all amazing! We truly had the "Best Wedding Ever!" as a lot of our guests told us that night! I still cannot believe that we found this PERFECT venue for our wedding! A year has past, and it was still the best day of my life. I had a complete vision for our day...every little detail was planned to the T! I never in a million years would have thought that a venue that does countless weddings a year could capture the vision of a single bride...but they did!! I remember the moment before I walked into the reception hall to make sure everything was set up...I remember thinking "This is the moment of truth, is it going to look like how I dreamt it?" and when I opened those doors, all I could think was "Nope, it's better!" I will never forget that moment when my eyes scanned the entire room, barely able to take it all in...this is my dream wedding!

And I know the reason for that perfect moment is Rachael! She was in CONSTANT communication with me...I was pretty needy haha! She was so helpful and answered all of my annoying questions. They made it SO easy for me as a bride. I dropped off all of my decor (centerpieces, fabric flowers, favors, menus, programs, etc.) a few days before the wedding, and magically it was all set up for me the day of.

And let's talk pricing...INCREDIBLE! I had a Saturday lunch wedding with 125 guests. Let's just say that we spent way less than any of our friends did at their venues, and our food was 10 times better! Seriously, I hate salmon but my husband gave me a bite of his (he assured me that I "just had to try it!")...I ended up eating half his plate! And we had a couple of guests not show up, and they packed us their meals to-go instead of just wasting them. We were SO thankful to have those meals later on since our wedding ended at 4:00 p.m. and we didn't make dinner plans.

Oh, the ceremony! It was so perfect! We had perfect weather (so thankful for that!), and the outdoor garden ceremony was exactly what I imagined. I also loved that I didn't have to worry about rain just in case. The WCI would have set up a tent if the weather looked bad...for NO ADDITIONAL FEE! Incredible!

Let's see what else...oh, the suite for us girls to get ready in was gorgeous. It was a nice large room so it fit me plus 4 bridesmaids plus 2 hair stylists all getting ready very comfortably...plus visits from parents and brothers! I was so thankful to have a "home base" at our venue...a place to disappear for a minute to put on my garter, a place to leave all our stuff and know it's safe, etc.

I don't think I could think of a single negative comment. They were unbelievably flexible, so professional, and the quality was off the charts! As for value, words cannot express how valuable they are! It would be like finding a 100% authentic vintage Gucci bag in mint condition at a thrift store on sale for $10! You just can't believe it's true but are so happy it is!

Thank you Washington Crossing Inn for allowing me to have the wedding of my dreams with the wallet of my reality. You were incredible, and I wish I could relive that day over and over and over again!! xo! :)

Everything was lovely! The flower garden (cocktail hour was outside) was gorgeous and lots of photos were being snapped by our guests! The ballroom looked amazing with the flowers from Flower Girl in Bensalem. The food was delicious. The cake, while beautifully served (with fresh berries), wasn't exactly what we ordered. I would recommend shopping around for a bakery other than the preferred vendor of the inn. The staff couldn't have been nicer, from the servers to the very competent (and very sweet) hostess, whose name I can't remember at the moment. Even though the ballroom got a bit warm, the dj had the dance floor full and hopping all evening! The inn looks great with all the improvements that the new owners are doing, too. Event coordinator (Lisa Mercatanti) showed the utmost patience and professionalism in handling our whole affair. This is a perfect venue for no more than 160 people with dance floor.

This was the perfect venue for our wedding. The wedding/banquet coordinators were helpful and always returned phone calls and emails within 24 hours--even on day off! All of the servers and staff were helpful and friendly the day of our wedding and previous and subsequent visits. We had a missing bouquet and the wedding coordinator created a bouquet from the Inn's flowers!!! The grounds were perfectly manicured and the food was delicious! The price per person included alcohol, cake, cocktail hour and the banquet food. For all that was included it was a great deal, and there were no hidden costs!

I visited 6 other businesses before meeting with the Washington Crossing Inn to discuss my 150-guest wedding. And I pretty much knew within 10 minutes of being there that this was where I wanted my wedding to be. The Inn did a spendid job with our September reception, I am still getting compliments on what fun the guests had. They truly cater to your needs and provide the best service that a bride could possibly have. The setting is colonial and elegant, just my style. The ballroom seats up to 180, and it was quite comfortable for my 150 guests. The Inn also gave me a list of recommended vendors which was a big help for someone like me who was not from the area. They work with several businesses in the area to give you incredible values for your wedding package. For example, my centerpieces were provided free of charge because I used one of their recommended florists (there were about 4 or 5 to choose from). Our wedding cake was also included in the package free of charge when we used a local bakery with which they have partnered and the cake was delicious! Plates started at $89/head for a sit-down dinner service which I found to be incredibly reasonable for a wedding. And the event coordinator, Lisa was very helpful + responsive to my questions in the months leading up to my big day. I honestly loved this place and believe that the night went very smoothly thanks to the Washington Crossing Inn.

My husband and I planned our wedding reception at Washington Crossing Inn from our home in California. The team at Washington Crossing Inn was more than willing to work with us by phone and email, ensuring that our vision for the day was captured. They provided wonderful vendor recommendations and offered proactive suggestions that took the worry out of the planning process. We had a number of guests comment on the beauty of the Inn, the history it reflects, and the gorgeous setup of both the garden at our outdoor cocktail hour and the formal ballroom. Washington Crossing Inn went above and beyond our expectations when, during the cocktail hour, our chosen hors d'oeuvres were completely devoured by our guests. The team acted quickly and served additional items from the hors d'oeuvre menu, making for a seamless transition. Our reception included a brunch buffet, which had our guests raving and going back for seconds (and for some, thirds). Our only critique, which was a consequence of a large number of guests and the heat generated from the buffet burners, was that the ballroom did become quite warm as our afternoon reception progressed. The team recognized this and did their best to adjust the temperature in the room. This aside, a number of guests approached us after the wedding to express how much they enjoyed themselves. Credit in this regard goes not only to Washington Crossing Inn, but to the partner vendors they have thoughtfully selected, the local bakery (Cramer's) and the florist (Gordon's). Not only was our cake delicious and our flowers beautiful, the pricing for our reception package included the services provided by these two vendors, making for an incredible value. Overall, we highly recommend the Washington Crossing Inn and we thank the entire team for helping to make our wedding day spectacular!

Rachael and Jane made the difference with our choice to book here. Over the next two years, these ladies were on point with communication...answering tiny, probably unimportant questions in less than 24 hours - usually within 6 hours! The venue is absolutely gorgeous if you want a garden wedding. The ballroom is not imposing nor is it dated. The food is wonderful and the staff is amazingly accommodating. Our wedding was beautiful and people gave us compliments all night. There was one snag, which was minor but it did upset me because I wasn't present to work it out. They handled it amazingly well, as they did everything else. I couldn't have imagined our wedding anywhere else, and I still look at the Inn fondly. The Inn made the whole process as painless as it could be, and I am such a Type A person. They were supportive and professional. Thank you again!

My fiancé and I looked at 15 other reception venues in the Bucks County area before we chose Washington Crossing Inn (WCI). We didn't want a typical country club ballroom experience, but our large guest list didn't permit us to book something at a more intimate space, and WCI was the perfect mix of charming, unique, historic venue that could comfortably accommodate our guest list. Plus, they also happened to offer the best value package for what we were looking for -- a double win!

Working with their catering/events staff was a very enjoyable experience. They usually replied back to emails/calls within a day or two and were very professional. They also more than delivered what was promised on the day of our wedding. One of the major advantages of WCI is that they know how to run weddings like a well-oiled machine. Our day-of wedding coordinator was fabulous - she even jumped in and helped bustle my dress - and she kept everything moving flawlessly the whole night, working with the kitchen staff, waiters, and our DJ and photographer from the start of the reception until the end, when she helpfully packaged up all of our personal effects, presents, etc. The rest of the wait staff and bartenders were so friendly and professional, and the food was delicious (with very generous portions).

We were just so pleased and impressed with everything about WCI (the outdoor cocktail hour, the ballroom and dance floor, the massive bridal suite) and can't recommend it enough to other people looking for a reception venue in the Bucks County area. It's also worth noting that the national park across the street from WCI is a perfect place for pictures.

The Washington Crossing Inn is a beautiful venue with delicious food. Compared to other venues in the area, it is a great value if you are looking for a traditional wedding with all of the bells and whistles. The catering staff - Jane and Rachael - are both wonderful. During the planning process they were both extremely responsive and went out of their way to be accommodating. When we had our tasting, our waitress Jen told us that she sometimes works the events. We asked if she could work ours. She is very nice, experienced and was really great with all of our guests. If I had to offer any advice to anyone having their event there, please make sure your specific needs are addressed early on and noted down. We had some special issues - ie a groom with celiac disease - and the Inn was wonderful about accommodating his dietary issues but we really needed to make sure that we went through every item. The only area I would say was an issue for me during the planning process was the flowers. Flower centerpieces are included as part of the overall price (a very nice touch) but I was sent to a florist over an hour away and I was really unimpressed by his designs and suggestions. After I expressed disappointment I was offered a different florist who is local and was fantastic. I ended up being thrilled with the flowers. If I had known about that florist selection first it would have avoided a lot of issues at the front end. The day of the affair, the only issue we had was that it seemed like if you didn't ask the "right" person for something it didn't get done. As an example, Our 90 year old grandpa needed to sit down during the cocktail hour and my daughter had to request a chair 3 times before one was provided to him. It just seemed like for anything to get done Jen needed to do it as the rest of the staff was not empowered to do so. All that said, the WCI is a fantastic place - food, ambiance and service all excellent! We were very pleased with the overall affair!

Washington Crossing Inn was the perfect place to have a reception. We were looking for somewhere that had great food and wasn't too expensive. WCI's prices really can't be beat. The staff was extremely professional, the food was delicious (this is coming from a foodie) and all the guests said so as well, and the grounds are classically elegant. They really decorated the garden beautifully for the cocktail hour. They were very responsive to all of our questions during the planning process as well.

The Inn did a phenomenal job on the overall finished product. We loved our wedding reception, from the food, to the service of the day-of wedding coordinator, the decor, to the professionalism. We had a plated menu with three options: filet mignon, chicken roulade, and and a wrapped-salmon. We upgraded the salad to include poached pears and goat cheese, and we could not have been happier. Though we didn't get to eat all of our food during our reception, what we had was outstanding. We didn't even get to try our cake (except for the one bite in front of everyone), but everyone raved that it was outstanding (we went with a chocolate ganache for one layer and a carrot cake for the other layer). The service on the day of our wedding was also well done. Our wedding day was a hot and humid day in July...so of course, it started raining just as our cocktail hour was about to start in the garden. The servers had to quickly move everything indoors. The guests said they were very grateful for this since it was so incredibly humid. Our harpist was able to perform inside, and the guests still enjoyed the delicious hors d'oeuvres.

Leading up to the wedding, we had a few minor complaints. We went through three different wedding coordinators in the 1+ year that we had the Inn booked for our wedding. At times, information was not well communicated from one manager to another. Jane, who was very professional and kind to us, sometimes made calculation errors in our final invoice, which my husband caught. Alex, the General Manager, worked well with us in the end. These were just very small issues, and overall, we were extremely pleased with how everything turned out.

The Inn was one of the best-priced venues we looked at in the Bucks County area (and we looked at about a dozen). Also, the food was one of the best. Don't forget to do the tasting before your wedding...it's a real treat!

We will certainly be back on our one-year anniversary to celebrate at the Inn. A real beautiful location, venue (inside and out) that is an outstanding value for what you get!

The Washington Crossing Inn is the perfect all in one venue for weddings with fewer than 160 guests.

We had a Friday night wedding for 130 people and the cost was $90 per person...and that included table linens, centerpieces, and the cake. The appetizers were delicious and plentiful. The salad was fresh. The pasta to die for. And the main entree was the best wedding food anyone has ever had...and no I am not kidding.

We were married on site in the gardens. Absolutely beautiful. They plant mums in the fall. So nice!

The bridal suite was one of the nicest I had seen and we had access to it all day long. They provided complimentary champagne, fruit and cheese as we got ready and I arranged for a light lunch as well.

My only slight complaint was that the coordinator did miss an email or two, but it wasn't earth shattering. Everything was perfect on the day of. And everyone raved about how great the Washington Crossing Inn was.

This is an amazing place for a wedding. We had our ceremony outside in the garden, which was amazing. One drawback is that the place is a restaurant and there is outside seating, so guests of the restaurant can watch you get married (but it's not intrusive at all). Of course our wedding day was the hottest day of the century, so nobody was outside! We had our cocktail reception outdoors as well. Beautiful, historic location with amazing food and wonderful people to work with. Given that we live in NJ, the price was just about half of what we would have paid in our local area.

    J & T's September 4, 2021 Wedding

My wedding was September 4, 2021 and was absolutely beautiful! The attention to detail that Dayna Leib gave was unmatched. Our guests are still talking about our wedding today! Specifically, the food and beautiful ambiance. We had the micro-wedding package and if I could change anything, I would add more time because we felt like we didn't have enough time between the wedding and reception for photos. Also, the room provided for the men was equipped like the bridal suite and was hot. All and all, it was an absolute beautiful experience from beginning to end. Thank you Washington Crossing Inn and Dayna for our beautiful wedding and experience!

The Washington Crossing Inn is a great venue if you're looking for a quaint, beautiful, historic location.

The beautiful garden and gazebo area was were my ceremony took place. With the beautiful flowing water fountain, trees, flowers and decor, it was the absolute perfect setting for our outdoor ceremony.

The grounds are in excellent shape and offered a variety of photographs from the Inn's grounds themselves to the nearby cottages, barns, park, monuments, etc., it was perfect.

The George Washington Ballroom was the perfect size for our wedding of 71. The large windows and gorgeous chandeliers lit up the room during our day reception. Everything was great from the cocktail hour to the 3 course meal and of course the drinks. The service during the reception was remarkable. They were quick, polite and courteous.

The food was fantastic. The service was great. The owner of the Inn personally came to us and made sure we were comfortable. There are private rooms and bathrooms upstairs for the wedding party in case you need to get away. Our guest were calling my mother and I for months after saying in was the best wedding they've ever been to. Actually, people still talk about and this month is our one year :)

The gardens were excellent. We received compliments from some of our guests that the staff were very accommodating to dining requests. The Inn's cake and florist vendors were excellent, we loved the flowers and our guests had high praises for the cake. We can't wait to eat our top tier next year! The planning staff were easy to work with for customizing the menu and beverage options. The staff on the day of the event were thoughtful, friendly and helpful. Our hostess attended to our individual needs as well as the needs of our guests. Even at the food tasting (prior to the wedding) our server was so nice, hilarious and made the experience special. Everything went smoothly and we had a wonderful time! We had some communication issues early in the planning, but that was probably due to some staffing changes. Overall, we highly recommend the WCI!

We had both our ceremony and reception at The Washington Crossing Inn. Leading up to the wedding, one of the wedding coordinators, Rachael, was great at responding to the numerous emails and questions we had. She was very flexible and always willing to work with us with us. She definitely deserves 5 stars!

The garden area for the ceremony is absolutely beautiful! However, if there is inclement weather on your big day, the alternative is a tent on the other side of the venue. While the tent isn't a bad location, it's just not as lovely as the lush garden. But we were willing to take the risk because we really liked the venue. The morning of our wedding it was drizzling. But luckily, our ceremony wasn't until 5pm, and the rain stopped in the afternoon, so we decided to keep our ceremony outdoors. My biggest complaint is that when I called to inform WCI that we would be keeping our ceremony outdoors, I was met with a negative response from one of the other wedding coordinators, who told me she "wouldn't be wiping down the chairs all day just for our wedding." We paid hundreds of extra dollars to have our ceremony in the garden, and to talk to a bride like that on her wedding day, when she is already nervous and emotional, was just not right. At the time, I was so excited for the big day that I just let it go, but looking back, that type of attitude was very unprofessional.

The food at WCI was delicious. (The restaurant has great food, too!) They had some hors d'oevres in the bridal suite which was a great idea since it allowed the bridesmaids and I to get a little snack before our entrance. The dance floor is a bit small if you have over 130 guests, but we still had a great time dancing the night away. Our only complaint about the reception is that we had a ton of desserts left over and they weren't packaged for us to take home, and I wish the open bar was more visible. Overall, we had a few critiques, but it was still a magical day, and we had a blast!

All in all, our wedding and reception at the Washington Crossing Inn was a beautiful experience. The staff who worked the wedding/reception itself were top-notch (and deserving of 5/5 stars). They worked tirelessly to ensure a seamless, lovely affair! IHowever, we did come across a few challenges worth mentioning. In the time since signing the contract to hold our wedding there and our actual wedding, the wedding coordinating staff had gone through a transition. We never really felt the new coordinator had a grasp on the details of our day, and she was slow to respond to inquiries. We also were specifically told, when signing the contract for our garden wedding, that the noise from the outside bar/patio would NOT be audible during the ceremony. However, the patio noise was quite loud and a major distraction. For what we paid, we had expected the Inn to control the volume of their patio patrons for the duration of our 20-min ceremony. Also, as the bride waiting to walk down the aisle, I was waiting with my dad and bridesmaids in between tables of people eating their dinner on the patio (not clearly explained to me when signing the contract)-- no privacy at all, and the constant fear I might knock into a plate full of something that would spill on my dress!
